This was Hermann Paris a couple of years ago in Knynsa, with his mini-piano that he had mounted in his small yacht, which he put on coaster wheels and dragged around to play for people. When he arrived he could only speak French, and nobody understood him, but he explained later that everyone understands music - and that's how he made his way around. He is an artist living now in France. What a wonderful time we had with him playing at la Peron Restaurant in Mossel Bay, with his cigarette butt between his lips & a glass of wine rocking on the piano ! We never realized how special it was till he left - and he is sorely missed.
