Large Wood Spool are handmade right here in the USA and were inspired by a client of mine who needed them for her ribbon she sells. Wind up your thread, ribbon, twine on these extra large wooden spools. For easy way of winding ribbon, thread, twine onto your spool holder, insert the 1/4" provided dowel into your drill, tape one end of your ribbon onto the dowel of the spool, engage your drill and watch the ribbon wind itself onto the spool.
