i drive a dodge charger pursuit. I feel so bad when i see people behind me trying to figure out i am one. I'm custom ordering a huge sticker that says "not a cop". I also ride a harley iron 883. also the wheels and rims it came with a plastic rim covering and if they are scratched that means its more than likely not a cop. Safe riding!

The undercover vehicles are more challenging to spot. I’ve seen everything from 06 Pontiac Grand Am to an older body civilian Caprice lit up with someone pulled over. The Virginia state police use unmarked Camrys,Altimas,Accords even a few Nissan Rogue SUVs😮 I’ve seen them with lights going on a traffic stop and the retired ones every time I go to the state auction. I even saw 15 last generation Mazda 6s all with high mileage all with police antenna holes in the roof/trunk. Always look on the Ford/Chevy/Dodge pickups/SUVs for the painted silver steel “fleet” wheels,antennas and small white LED police light lenses around the grille/running boards. Dark tinted windows with the rain visors are another clue. My daily Crown Vic looks like an unmarked car-everyone drives more courteous around me and cuts down on road rage 😉

I had a guy come up next to me after leaving Motorhead 30 years ago who flashed a badge at me and motioned to pull over. I kept driving and completely ignored him. Maybe it was a cop I don't know know.

The spot lights stay on them because if they’re removed there would be this big ass hole going straight into the cabin lol. They remove literally everything else (pd hardware wise) but it wouldn’t sell for much if they had this big hole in it.

5:02 you forgot the physical key slot on the trunk i also look at the licensee plate not always a solid way to tell but i haven’t seen too many with civilian plates on them

in Colorado when approaching from behind, look for the lack of the brightly colored Registration stickers on the License Plate. That single tip has saved me Multiple times

Here in Alabama they’re buying regular Silverados Tahoes and chargers straight off the lot for narcotics and undercovers regular tags wheels etc only way to really know is look in the back window windshield and grills for lights or if the tag doesn’t start with numbers got pulled over by an rt charger with the appearance package that makes it look like a 392

I’m very smart on police car spotting in California I notice a lot like you explain I mostly can tell by the wheels and also extemp license plate I always pay attention to every car who drive on the fast lane on the freeway

Here in California where I am at we don’t get real cold weather although some winters are colder than others. But still, after having to ride in 19 degrees (wind chill made it that low), I won’t do it anymore.

Riding all year round here in aus coldest weather we see in Brisbane is the odd 6°C out riding by 9am

Find yourself a gas station with “ ethanol “ free gas, avoid using the additive products. Ethanol free is amazing for winter storage and it doesn’t separate like additives and best part it doesn’t suck up moisture. Been riding for 9 years and it’s been great to me. My one bike sits for winter but the other I still ride every other week, lowest I’ll ride is 15-20 degrees. Also Good video bud
