Loved this video! It brought back fond memories. I live on St Pete Beach and went to Gulf Beaches Elementary. In my teenage years, I spent lots of time on Madeira Beach, John's Pass, and Redington Shores.

clearwater became ugliest place in no time. tourist crowds of mass tourism taking down the place. such a shame.

What a DIFFERENCE. Years ago (90s) when I used to visit Downtown Tampa it was basically dead after business hours. (Actually kind of dead also during business hours). Now this looks completely different and way more vibrant.

clearwater beach has become the ugliest place in the united states in just 20 years. i can recall enjoying the place for myself with all its beauty, then there was this traveller magazine report claiming its beaches being the finest of the country. mass tourism came, killing the virginity of the once pearly beaches. today there is nothing than incredibly ugly giant hotel blocks and huge charter crowds covering every inch of the sand. water quality down by 80 percent. condo high rises all over. the magic is gone, so is the crooky mayor with the fortune he got from the aggressive hotel chains turning this place into a nightmare.

Going to 1st one in 2025! Are campsites “assigned” when you purchase them? Or Come on in and find a spot. Bikes look like they aren’t allowed. Wanting to spend a lot of time in the military section. Can you camp closer to areas to cut down on walking? I’m used to racing and camping in the infield so I’m familiar with this arrangement just looking for pointers 😎

Great vid. Seems like so many Californians are relocating to Florida. I have never lived in Cali, but it always seemed so exciting out there...especially in LA with all the glitz and glamour. I guess the grass is always greener.
