how i polish my polished aluminum wheels on my harley easily. items i use: white diamond metal polish 0000 steel wool gorilla gloves microfiber towels
I followed the instructions and it worked for a month. Now it’s doing the same thing. Is yours still working?
Thank you for the content. My problem wasn't the same, but you gave me an entry point. It's a key. Thanks again. Edit: the motor was frozen. Some pliers just loosened it up.
This did not resolve my issue unfortunately... After starting to work on it I found that the front right wheel that has the little thing that is attached to it is not moving at all and is damaged a bit in one place, but I don't know if that's normal when not turned on or if the slight damaged area could cause it to not move? Anyone know?
I cleaned everything but now what do I lubricate all the gears you repaired that interlocked. I had to take off the lubrication because there was so much gunk that built up & prevented the gear from moving it appears so it had to be removed. Can I spray with WD40 before reassembling?
Mine worked great for a few months. I charged it up the other day, I put it in the pool, it started cleaning and then just stopped. I pulled it out of the pool and none of the lights were turning on. No lights when I plug it into the charger. It's just dead. Any suggestions? Great video by the way. Very detailed and straight to the point.
Thanks for the video! It worked ! I had the exact same problem. It worked most of summer and then just stopped working. I followed this video step by step and threw it back in the pool and it worked! So happy to at least use it for the rest of summer! Thank you 👌🏽
Hi Did you get your cleaner repaired? I’m thinking I’m out $200. Bought this cleaner in a resale shop!
This worked for mine but not sure If it is the same scenario with yours.
Thanks. The video was a big help. The motor mechanisms probably got dislodged during handling. I didn’t see any obvious internal issue. It worked like it was as soon as I put it back in the pool.
a piece of S#$%, on the 2nd unit that died like the first one. Aquafish has no phone number only technical support email which they never answer you back! DONT BUY
The only way I was able to communicate with them was via email. I needed to have proof of purchase from an authorized retailer, which evidently is walmart, Sam's maybe another. Mine was bought on Amazon so I had no help.
So did it work ??
Yes it worked for me
My elf 08 turned itself on while charging on dry land last night. Luckily it was blocked in so it couldn't crawl away. It was in a dry area. Hope this won't be a reoccurring problem. It continued to run after unplugging it so I dropped it in the pool until it ran out of power.
Had same issue afraid to plug back in. Did your work after that happened
We are having the same issue. It turned itself on when we had it plugged in. Let it run out in the pool and then let it dry out, plugged in and it did it again. Have either of you found the cause of this.
No clue on the problem. I had bought mine aftermarket so no warranty. Bought a new one and returned the old one. Maybe a little underhanded, but didn't want to be out the whole amount for such a faulty product. So far so good with the new one.
@@billgolliher5117 .. yep.. don't blame you. hubby was looking for the receipt- . Only had it a month and of course didn't buy the insurance but not been able to find a fix for it.
We had the same issue, but only once. It was very strange! It worked all last year perfectly otherwise. This year put in and this problem occurred. I'm going to go try your fix now & will try to remember to report back. I didn't see your video telling us if yours worked after your repair?
I faced almost the exact same issue. I bought it last year, it worked like a champ. I used it a few times this year, then I had problems. I took mine apart and found that the coupler where the flat side of the motor shaft goes in, was wallered out. I was able to drill and tap the coupler for a 10-32 set screw to get a bite on the motor shaft. It works now but is moving slower in one direction than is normal. I'm thinking of taking everything back apart and inspecting the gears and putting more white lithium grease all over them.
After the repair mine also moves a bit slower. I think the motor must have partially failed due to the lockup. It still works but is definitely slower.
