What a wonderful birthday experience! I was hoping that you would put up an atmospheric video for Halloween, and was delighted by this! What a treat to meet Richard Felix! I’ve been enjoying his films for years. I also love an old hotel/pub that keeps its heritage appearance. Today’s fad decor will be fleeting & dated, soon enough. But, an original interior/exterior is an homage to the building’s origin (ok, bathrooms excepted).

Hi Misty as always it’s lovely to hear from you 😊this was filmed at the end of July and Iv only just got round to editing it ! What a lovely unspoilt old place , I agree , we have to make sure these places stay as they are ! Richard Felix ! What a gentleman and so knowledgeable on anything historical or paranormal , it was 2 and a half hours of sheer pleasure ! I have another story that Iv saved for Halloween 🎃 you may of seen the “short” it’s about st Mary’s at south Markham in Norfolk , I think you will like it ( well I hope so ) you will have to let me know 😊

Oh!! This was a combination of two events that I remember, but I did not know they were the same event! Of course I remember when Lin took you out of town on your birthday because of course that’s my birthday as well, and I remember when you got this lovely plug from your hero and gaol owner. All the times we have spoken, I always thought we were the same age, but now that I know I am your YOUNGER friend by a few years, I will, of course, extol more deferential honors! And if we record together again, I will naturally accommodate whatevet anyone older than me might require. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

There is an old pumping station next to the lay-by which I went down to it from and I wonder if the spring is owned by Thames water or suchlike ! @@theexiledyellowbelly714 Yes, I'm really enjoying the back episodes, they're great. I've just watched the video about the murder of Annie Leeson. A fascinating and tragic story. I'm also enjoying finding out about an area (Buckinghamshire) that I'm not familiar with - it looks lovely! Yes, the journey back from Saudi Arabia is a long and arduous one, but I always try and get home to see my family four or five times a year - my next visit is in a few weeks. Re: Welton, I think I've gone past or been through it a few times en route to the Wolds, but I'm not in that area too often as my home is in South West Lincs., in a village called Welby in between Grantham and Sleaford. All the best from a very hot (45 degrees today) Saudi Arabia.

My old house as a youth sat in fields and tree lined avenue of pink horse chestnuts lined the way . The legend was of a headless horseman . It stopped anyone wandering down the half mile to us . One day when at 32 I found my Great grandfathers note book and dairies in the library clean out . I read all pages and found a foot note saying the ghost was invented by his great grand mother to ward off criminal types. I had by loss of investments via Abbey Life co. So in 1990 i was to loose my home in England . I came abroad and built a simple cottage styled home on sharp learning curve . Made 5 acres of cow pasture into English gardens .Yours faithfully Sir Kevin Parr Bt
