I think this film looks awesome! I love fun 80s horror comedies like Creepshow, Evil Dead II, American Werewolf in London and this kinda feels like a throwback to those type of films. I also think Osgood Perkins is a really underrated director, Blackcoat’s Daughter and Gretel & Hansel are both atmospheric, haunting and beautiful, as well as Longlegs.

The dark comedy tone in the trailer reminds me of Fargo-ish type of dark comedy. I noticed they made a custom monkey toy for the film. Changing it to a Drum Monkey instead of a Cymbal Monkey. I hope that change is audibly used as it was in the trailer. I noticed they intentionally used accelerating snare drum hits in the trailer. Which I found creepy and effecive

Just watched this movie today, it’s alright but definitely not a good one.

I think that Hollywood has slowly gotten the message that pushing "the message" isn't selling. The contradictions between the trailer and the previous promos seems to be more about damage limitation at best, however it's almost certainly too little too late for Snow White. I can only hope that the movie landscape of 2025-26 will be more in tune with what the audience wants rather than whatever idio9logical agendas the studios want to push.

I have so many questions about this trailer! Those actors are pretty clear on wanting a very different story to be told here in this version. However, I would sure love to see a faithful retelling of the original. Don't mess with the classics! I can't wait for this movie to come out-as long as it's reasonably true to the original 1937 version.

I beat all three main games to death playing them so much. I loved them. This movie is god awful. The cast is so wrong. So incredibly wrong.

If Denzel Washington is playing Macrinus, then having Caracalla there makes sense historically. I saw the original at the cinema, this, probably wait for the streaming release.

The series is a departure from the tone of the film. It's trying to cram in gags in the hope some might hit and then pushing things on so we forget the jokes that miss. The movie was part of my childhood. It was fantasy, comedy, and elements of horror (shocking but not nightmare-inducing), and it felt like the bandits were a family when they started riling each other and coming to blows when things went wrong, but ultimately getting it together to resolve issues. This, this is just Taika Waititi trying to create jobs for Jemaine Clement. Terry Gilliam was clever in his casting, finding actors who could exist on the same level and require the same shot composition as the main character. Keeping the camera at a child's height to demonstrate how large the elements of the world were.

I hope they do this right

In Gladiator they had trapdoors, yet in Gladiator 2 they show a naval battle. Naval battles happened BEFORE trapdoors in the Colosseum. As soon as they dug tunnels under the arena, they could no longer have naval battles.

The casting is also waste, Denzel Washington has no business in a classic movie with uncultured American accent.
