Tedding, Raking and Baling first cut hay 2024
Finishing up the 3 acres left on the interval making 48hr hay fighting heavy dew. Baled perfect at under 10% moisture.

What a fantastic crop of hay
The interval self fertilizes every spring with the river flooding. Surprising though that this years crop is about 10-20 square bales an acre down compared to last years. We had a real wet spring last year though.
Was a rough one but looks like a beautiful week this week to try another field.

Nice setup!! That 224 looks nice! Does the thrower have that high-pitch whine to it that the massey throwers of that era would get? Guy I grew up working for has a 124 with the same sound. Always loved it, was never quite sure what made the sound 😊
Yes it whines when it's turned up. Never needed it turn up too high with my wagons. Launched many over the top getting the hang of it! Hard to hear much when running it as the 4610 has a home made "muffler" built into canopy above your head haha.
