as always, some good picks there :) i would worry about the ratio of Tuesday/Wednesday players for MD7. i am playing the WC chip and it's super difficult to navigate all the possible obstacles, injuries and players who will get rested in one or both of the last two matchdays. everyone playing the WC chip this round will need a lot of luck with their picks, me included :) waiting for more news closer to the deadline and looking forward to your next video! ✌🏻

Villa preserved Watkins : on @ 60mins, but he's nudging 3gms/gl, scoring 7 in 20 appearances across Prem/UCL this term. Selected him early in UCL being the talisman with fair fixtures throughout group stages, but haven't seen what I was hoping for, landing on similarly priced Guirassy & Thuram. Both should progress to next stage, so any price rises won't hurt you during unlimited @ the break. If Thuram's mins improve, his form is vastly superior : 10gls in 17 appearances.

it's so interesting to me that you said that you hate 11 players on Tuesday :) in my mind, that is the best possible scenario. i guess i am too mathematically oriented XD we want to achieve the highest possible number of points from our 15 players and the easiest way is with 11 players on Tuesday, so i usually want to target that if possible. if not, then maybe 10/5, 9/6 and 8/7, and i think that everyone should avoid 7 or fewer players on Tuesday. i do understand the psychological aspect you mentioned, so i guess if you want to have the most fun on both Tuesday and Wednesday, i see how you'd want more Wednesday players in your team :) btw seems like Can may not start, could be a slight problem for both of us. good luck!!

Fwd: Haaland, Lewa and Kane. I need to sell Yamal and Militao. I am not keen on keeping Olise and Hakimi and Kim. What do you suggest? Also both my GK play on the same day.

it shows that using a WC chip now is not ideal, but that's probably one of the best MD5 wildcard teams you can come up with. it's interesting that i will use a WC chip in MD6 and i'll have only like 3 players from the video :)

great team! i know you did this video early, so here's a couple of comments: Frimpong left the game with a knee injury, and Guirassy wasn't used due to illness so I don't know if they will have him travel to Zagreb. City lost 0-4 to Spurs so now they have way too many losses in a row xD I'd personally put Kane in the attack instead Haaland or Guirassy. but this is a great team nevertheless and i love the Tillman shout!

hey Willem! hello from the 2nd place in your league :) interesting that you mentioned de Jong, i was considering him as well. i was even looking at Saibari, also from PSV, listed as forward in UCL fantasy, who is slowly getting more and more minutes and looked more dangerous than de Jong in a certain period of time... but yeah, overall Luuk de Jong would probably be a better choice. but man, do we take out Gyokeres or not?! that is the question! i am very big on players who play on Tuesday and he is playing both City and Arsenal on Tuesday and he's scoring sooo many goals, the guy is like a real scoring machine. it makes sense to keep him, as well as sell him... i will sell Kobel as he is injured, and i definitely want to have 3 Dortmund players. i will need a Dortmund attacker, so probably Gittens or Guirassy... not sure if i should go Guirassy over Gyokeres. so many problems :) for your team i would definitely sell Jimenez. i probably prefer Team 4 out of your four options, just leave Gyokeres in and get Kobel and Jimenez out. overall it's still a strong team with a couple of differentials, it could do very well!

hey Willem, i wanted to touch on a couple of things from the video :) 1 - about Gyokeres, he actually plays both City and Arsenal at HOME (not away 😊), and maybe it's important to note that both games are on Tuesday. i am considering selling him anyway haha just because why go against City and Arsenal, but these might be solid arguments to actually keep the scoring machine - playing both games at home and on Tuesday so it's possible to substitute him if he blanks 2 - for the goalkeepers section, i would add Carnesecchi from Atalanta as well, nice fixtures and plays on opposite days from Kobel for the next couple of rounds 3 - for the defenders section, ah man if you have a list of 4 City defenders, you gotta have Gvardiol on that list 😅 he's one of the best attacking defenders in the world and has the most touches in the opponent's half in the PL. Akanji and Walker are potentially injured as well so more chances for Gvardiol to play (if he's not injured himself). Musiala played 60 mins against Bochum on weekend and managed to get a goal and an assist :) i like all the suggestions you gave, Luuk De Jong is a very interesting shout! also maybe worth noting, PSV plays Girona in an early match on Tuesday so we'll know the exact lineups for that match which is always nice. thanks for the video, cheers!
