yes, it opens up within the Community App. ie not in a new window. We have discovered that the lockable parts I talk about in the video are no longer working due to changes Kajabi has made to the App (about a month ago), but all else works as expected. ie you can move around on the page, click on links, be taken to other areas etc.

Not always. It depends on what theme / outfit you're trying out. The themes are all different... ie some have a home page sidebar menu on the right, some have a navigation side menu on the left, some have cards as categories, some show the categories and lesson in rows. So whilst the branding and colors will look the same, the actual look and function of the theme is different. But on the other hand, when we're Updating product themes, then yes you are correct... it will look exactly the same, but it will have the updated code now in the backend.

In order to customize your home page, or any landing page (we can now add 10 pages), you need to first work on the page as you would normally. ie not within the Community area, but under Website > Pages > Landing. So you just build your page as per normal, and then you add the URL link into the Community area, when you want to show it there.

Yes. That's correct.... just delete the extra block/section we created, as we don't need that after we have our image address url.

Ok, so I've tested it with the Mobile App.... and it's actually not bad. The links open up within the , but they work fine. ie you can move around within the course area, listen to videos... do all you would normally... and even better, you can actually see the course as it would look on the mobile browser... so you get to see the Home page of the course. We don't see the course like we do in the actual Kajabi APP. This is different, this is seeing it in a normal browser window. I'm moving around amongst all the different products, ie links are working good. So maybe just test it again, and see if there's an improvement on your end? See if you get the same results... 🤗

I couldn't get the navigation menu to look the same in the app. It doesn't seem to follow the order of the customized pages at all, so the home page ends up at the end, and the first page is always the Circle. Did you face the same problem? Would love a video about the Communities app :)

Hey Lani, you can add style="float: right; padding-left: 5px;" or you can change the right to left if you prefer. Just remember to add some padding so there's a little space inbetween the text and your image.

Hey Jules, the blog is a different kettle of fish, as it's part of the website theme and considered system pages. It won't work doing it there... as technically you'd be adding the 'section' to the website theme and it would then appear on every single blog page, you couldn't control it, ie change it for each blog. You can show one particular section on as many landing pages as you want, all at the same time... but you'd be adding the section to each page separately.... so it's likely not going to save you much time that way. Blog links where you're wanting to change them, for specific posts and content, you'll be having to add within your blog post text area each time. I can't think of an easy way to do this one... sorry!!!

Hey there Common Sense, thanks for your question. Hmm so we can do this natively in any Kajabi page now. The trick is to use the Duplicate Section or Duplicate Block tool. And once you've duplicated a section, Kajabi moves it to the bottom of the page. Then you can reposition it to where you want it, and then delete any blocks from it you don't want in there. @@pennyinyourpocket5498 thanks. I think you misunderstood though. If I have section A with text A inside, then section B with text B inside. How do I put text A into section B, so text A & B are together in the same section? Obviously I’m using an overly simple example, but my question is about moving “content” from one section to another existing section.

@@allthecommonsense Ahhh, ok got it. Then yes, that's a whole lot trickier. Truth be told, I'd find it quicker to open the page up in 2 browser windows and just redo the block or blocks as new inside the section you want them in. So you'd just have the page with Section A and Text A open in one browser window, and in another window, the same page open in Section B... then I'd copy the same settings you have from Section A/Text A into a new text block in Section B... and same with copying and pasting the text. It would take just as long, if not longer, to go through Code Editor and find the block ID's you want to copy and then copy and paste them into the code liquid file. So the 2 methods I'd employ would be: 1 -- Just rebuild the block inside the new section...(as above). or 2. -- copy the first section and make the changes you need in it to turn it into Section B. There's no magic button for this one sadly. :)

Hi James, I no longer offer this service, sorry!!! And I don't go near Fiverr, so can't help you there.... but there are lots of wonderful VA's inside the Kajabi FB group that would be able to help you. Have you tried posting in there?

It actually makes no difference what size you initially create the image, as you can control the sizing within the text block itself. However, rule of thumb is the bigger the image, the clearer it will be.... but keep in mind we do have issues around SEO with large image sizes... so it's at bit of a catch 22. For Signatures, I would typically start with something around 400px wide by about 100px high. And then I'll change the width in the code if that size isn't right inside the text block. For instance... instead of using width="100%" you'd change it to something else like width="50%". You can play with the width to change the size. See how you. 🤗

Hey there, so you are partly correct. A couple of the sites I mention in the video only use Kajabi for part of their businesses.... ie they use it for their backend courses and memberships... not their websites and landing pages. So the areas their members and students see are all Kajabi. Hope that helps clear things up....

Hi Margie.... no. Kajabi have not created any Product Themes in the new Encore Framework. Only Website themes and Page themes have been updated to the newer framework. All product themes are built in their own Framework... the one I'm showing here is called Momentum. Hope that helps.
