@kenbennett4556 the mod is Appearance editor enhanced. It gives all companions a spell that let's them enter character creation. In there, you can change Astarion or anyone else however you see fit

@@Cassandra_Solidor sure thing, here it is: www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2652 Simply download an Astation specific mod and load it to the mod manager. There are two versions of female Astarion voice and videos that show you how each of them sounds, pick any you like.

It's a good story part, but tbh the gameplay part is annoying. You are forced to do several side quests if you wanna progress through the main one

Honestly I found it weird too. Force sensitive characters do that as well, but they don't actually pull the holocron for some reason.

My best guess - actor just didn't wanna do it anymore.

Broadsword doesn't have enough funding they have to pay for 48 high profile dudes alongside multiple lesser dudes for the NPCs

It's probably because he's also a regular actor whose show dalgliesh renewed for another season which he will also be directing so he's probably too busy with it to do this game

They ran outta money SWTOR has to hire 48 (2 for each class = 16, 3 languages = 48) high profile VAs JUST for the protags, that's not counting all the steve blums they have to hire to voice the NPCs, I'm amazed they lasted this long

Hello Fran. For voice, I used this mod: www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2652 it has the swaps for all companions, the majority have two versions of the voices but there are video examples of how they sound so take your pick. For the appearance, I used this www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/899/ it gives all companions the spell that takes them to the Magic Mirror menu. You can change not only their gender, but race and body size as well

I also have some new heads installed, majority of the companions have them on this video, but I don't remember the name for that mod.

@user-bb6jr2ss2d I dunno what you mean by the "whole game", but if you mean characters outside of companions - I personally cannot do that, and I haven't seen that many modes that cover it, but I'm sure it's possible. But what I have is just the combination of mods that allow you to change the appearance of companions as if they were a Tav, and a separate mod that replaces their voices to fit a specific gender.

@user-bb6jr2ss2d I would love that too, but I understand why they won't. Considering the *insane* amount of voice lines this game has for its characters, having to do that all over again with 8 characters would be time consuming and expensive af.

It's a mod.

You can use a mod to change the character’s face/ body /appearance, then you can use a mod that uses AI to change their voice. You can also find a mod that changes their gender tags.

@@ReignbowLight if you search “voice” on nexus mods, you’ll find some. There’s one called “voice swaps” which has ai voice swaps for most genderbent origin characters. I haven’t used it myself and it hasn’t been updated for the newest patch yet so I can’t 100% guarantee that it will work for you. But you can still check it out.
