We have to replace the coils and plugs on this Ford Fusion with a 3 liter engine. Removal of the upper intake manifold is mandatory for this service , but don’t worry! It’s not that bad and I’ll walk you through it!

I left out that ignition coils should always be checked and replaced if necessary on any vehicle with a bad coil driver in the pcm! This is ultra important . You don’t want to fry two pcms! Here we have a chevy Tahoe with code po342 camshaft position sensor circuit low. This same diagnostic procedure goes for po340,po343,po341,po343. Simple and quick. Check your reference voltage on the sensor connector. Most of you diy guys don't have a labscope at home. But if you have power to the cmp it's normally safe to say replace the cmp. check for battery voltage on the red wire. No need ...

What was the remedy for that? New module or new standard sway bar with manual end disconnects?
Is this the issue that is caused by a faulty ignition coil, or is this an issue with the pcm itself? Also, when reprogramming, is it necessary to have 2 keys or will 1 be okay? Customer only has 1 key.

Broke a bolt the last one on the air intake manifold. Idk what to do i removed the flex pipe as well until i intall the new one im not driving the car currently sitting will that one bolt ruin my car ?whats best tool to extract it

What will happen if you just leave it unplugged ?? My girlfriend has a 2016 Rubicon, and the sway bar light has been flashing/coming on since we came back from the beach about a month ago. Any and all advice would be appreciated !!!!

Hey guys, great video and the exact same thing happened to mine. My mechanic replaced the fuse box unfortunately for $1100 which was probably fine, but how do you change those electrical connections? A new sway bar is $2400. Any ideas on how to change just the electrical connections?
You never posted what the solution was.
My crown vic is doing the same thing I swapped out the pcm and still have the same issue I also changed the whole throttle body also

So my GF car needs plugs and coils so how many hours is this job allotted for in a shop?
CAN YOU RE-USE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET OR DO THEY HAVE TO BE REPLACED!
It's recommended that you replace it, but if it isn't worn too bad, you can reuse it. Just be mindful on how you put it back on so it doesn't get damaged
Ok. Don’t use high tech equipment like you did to read the tipm error code. Lmao.
Thank you for the exact description, I love my Fusion, but this is so arduous for the DIY type. Miss my 72 8 cylinder Skylark, But for todays technology, this is why a good mechanic is expensive a great one is priceless.
That's a $2200. There is no happy ending here.

I knew the front spark plugs were going to be easy. It's the rear that is going to be a pain in the ass. I am just surprised you can't just take the whole top off in one piece instead of several pieces. That would take some time off your hands.

Wats the cylinder firing order ?
Had the same issue. Replaced pcm with 2 used ones. At the dealer now. Both do not crank the engine after they got reprogrammed. Any ideas. Loosing faith in the dealer.

Ford GM Nissan Toyota. Most 6 cylinder front wheel drive cars are designed this way. Honda’s are one of the few that don’t require the plenum to be removed.
Assuming this is oil sensor not the pump itself, we can drive safely to the workshop for replacement. Any way to determine 100% without specific equipment that this is sensor failure, not oil pump?
