The port visit at the end of the video was Malta. We were there with the British Navy at the same time. What a blast!

V-3 Division on that last cruise. My second deployment and I had a blast!!! First was on the Saratoga, also her last cruise. I wish I could do it all over again.

I do not usually go for audience participation but THIS was special and truly heartfelt. As a man who uses a wheelchair, I want to personally thank Paramore for bringing up the young lady who was mobility-challenged. Representation means the world to our often forgotten community. Did you know if a venue only has accessible seating in the front row, you have to pay for the 1% seating even if it’s way too far out of your league? There’s no such thing as a ticket that fits your budget if you require a wheelchair. Imagine if restaurants required you to order Filet Mignon along with their best bottle of wine because you required a special accommodation? How can this NOT be illegal?

Thanks. Brings back a lot of memories. I was with VMAQ-3 on this cruise. Worked mostly nights in the CVIC. However I was on deck when we went through the Strait of Gibraltar. I looked for myself in your footage but didn’t see me. Still fun looking at the footage though.

Thanks for posting, this was first cruise and the highlight of my 4 years of active duty Navy time. I had some great times during this deployment, I was right out of boot camp/ATD.
