I agree a lot with you on this. The fact about giving too much points to the guy who finishes the round the best, has never made sence to me. It has been a problem in boxing allways. It should be as simple as counting the clean hits from both boxers. Not about the psycological effect of best finish before the bell.

You would make sense if both fighters gave out the same damage but they didn't. A 10 second spell that hurts a fighter should win them the round even if they lost 2min 50 seconds of non damaging points, in my opinion ofc.

I don't know what fight y'all were watching but bivol literally fought in spurts. Saying him fought and more active than Artur (2mins) is insane. It's showing your bias. Even in the compubox stat's Artur landed more round by round. Bivol simply didn't throw enough. There's a round where they both landed 9 each and then you see who was doing more in different criterias. Worse Artur would've gotten is a draw.

Compubox literal objective statistics says otherwise, and it’s 6-5 Beterbiev. In terms of eye test, bivols combinations looked faster, and cleaner, but still Beterbiev was doing more damage towards the end Bivol was only trying to survive as he was getting bullied, and Bivol really did fight in spurts, just keeping a high guard doesn’t win fights.

@@RoddyTalksSports being a losing teal under doc and injury prone as it is, i can see them underperforming/ get hurt and slip in the standings. I don’t think they’re built for consistent success like the deeper teams in the east. They can def lose in the play-in just because they’re not healthy at the end if the year.

@@kevinmckay2483 they’re not that good bro, they been mediocre for a very long time and have been holding on to just be that for ever, shit is gonna hit the fan on them as they continue to just band aid there team so that they can hope they just make a push for the playoffs in a bad division to get bounced out in the wildcard. They will suck this year cause age and quality of team will catch up to them and they need to re build anyways.
