Peace. "The son of man" was referenced in 1989 by Dr. Rashad Khalifa. (The man who discovered the miraculous mathematical composition of the Quran based on the number 19. He proclaimed that he was indeed, a messenger of God. I believe him. Here is the proclamation: -Proclaiming One Unified Religion for All the People All religions of the world-Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and others-have been severely corrupted through innovations, traditions, and the idolization of humans such as the prophets and the saints. God’s plan, as stated in the Old Testament (Malachi 3:1), the New Testament (Luke 17:22-36 & Matthew 24:27), and this Final Testament (3:81), calls for the sending of God’s Messenger of the Covenant after all the scriptures have been delivered. The main function of God’s Messenger of the Covenant is to purify the scriptures and unify them into one universal message to this world from the Creator and Sustainer of this world. This major scriptural prophecy has now been fulfilled. God’s Messenger of the Covenant has arrived, supported by overwhelming tangible proof (see Appendix Two). The purification and unification process has begun. God’s plan is supported by God’s invisible forces, and the enormous dimensions of this divine plan is manifest in the recent exposure of false religionists, and the removal of such anti-freedom barriers as the Berlin Wall, the Iron Curtain, and the bamboo curtain. Henceforth, there is only one religion acceptable to God-Submission. Anyone who submits to God and devotes the worship to God ALONE is a “Submitter.” Thus, one may be a Jewish Submitter, a Christian Submitter, a Buddhist Submitter, a Hindu Submitter, or a Muslim Submitter. The only religion acceptable to God is Submission. [3:19] Anyone who seeks other than Submission as his religion, it will not be accepted from him and, in the Hereafter, he will be with the losers. [3:85] (Rashad Khalifa, November, 1989). Furthermore Dr. Khalifa made this announcement: Divine Proclamation Through Gabriel: Like the time Of Noah: Only those who stand with God's messenger will be saved. If you look at Quran Sura 7, Verse 64 says: "They rejected him (Noah). Consequently, we saved him and those who stood by him in the ark, and we drowned those who rejected our revelations, for they were blinded people." Verse 72 says: "We then saved him (Hood) and those who stood by him, by mercy from us. And we annihilated those who rejected our revelations, and refused to believe." Verses 78-79 say: "Consequently, the quake annihilated them, leaving them dead in their homes. He (Saaleh) turned away from them, saying, '0 my people, I have delivered my Lord's message to you, and advised you, but you do not like those who advise you.'" Verse 83 says, "Consequently, we saved him (Lot) and his people, except his wife; she was with the doomed." Verses 91-92 say, "The quake annihilated them, leaving them dead in their homes. Those who rejected Shu'aib vanished, as if they never existed. Those who rejected Shu'aib were the losers." Verse 101 says, "We narrate to you the history of the doomed communities: their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had already rejected. God thus seals the hearts of the disbelivers." We see the same lessons in 26:105-190. The angel Gabriel has conveyed to me God's plan: those who refuse to stand by His Messenger of the Covenant will be utterly destroyed. I was told specifically that it will be like the time of Noah: Only those who stand by God's messenger will be saved. May God guide the believers.

The problem here is that Paul wasn’t arguing from the Roman view he was arguing from the Jewish view. Look at the book of Ruth for example.

In other words Jesus is saying I am the son of man not the son of God. People get it through your head

I do wonder, should we adapt this specific term "Truth" not in its ultimate and absolute objective sense, as was "normally" claimed in christianity,... but rather in its relatif personal "post modern" sense..(??) Because nowadays we do differentiate so called theological truth, even when there is no critical historical truth (context) granted. .. Truth as "validated" true Belief is not guaranteed anymore.. The Son of man is the Spirit that came down from heaven (John 3:13). The title Son of man is used meaning "Saviour of man". Son of man - Saviour of man Son of God - the body that came from Marry (flesh & blood) Son of David - the bloodline that the body came from. The house of David. In (1 John 4:14) we see that the Father sent the Son to be the saviour of the world. The "Son" being the saviour of the world is indeed "the Son of man" being interpreted "saviour of man". The "Son" which is the Word of God (Revelation 19:13) is the Father's Spirit and his name is Jesus. Jesus let's us know that he and the father are one (John 10:30). If they are one, then the Father's name is Jesus and the Son is a Spirit for God is a Spirit (John 4:24). The body that came from Marry was the Son of God which was flesh & blood (Luke 1:35). The Spirit that was in that body which was sent by the Father was the Word, Christ, Son, Son of man, all being the one JESUS CHRIST. People get so infatuation with the body of Jesus Christ, but that body profited nothing (John 6:63). It was all about the Spirit in that body. Which is why the Son of man will return, not that body, but the Spirit that was in that body. (Matthew 24:30) Peace be unto you all.

Doing a thesis on this verse at the moment. It can positively be applied to modern day but wasn’t Paul’s intent. We have divisions in society but not in Christ.

There is no controversy, Jesus. the son of Mary is The Son of Man. Just use common sense, there is no need to refer to Judaism's writings, they oppose the scriptures that point to the identity of the Messiah at every turn.

Since the idea of early Christians being jailed is described as being an exaggeration (by the Evangelical community), why was the Apostle Paul jailed as much as he was?

He seemed in a rush. Possibly he is burning himself out. 4 years prior, ..he would speak about Paul very differently and with enthusiasm while talking excitedly about how God had entrusted him to "Forward a Message". I hope he is growing more than he seems.

"11 Doctorates" sounds nice. I wonder if any of the Professors ever forced him to "Speak With God"? I know I sound rude, I just find the Volumes of Study something that Jesus would have "Cringed-at" while thinking "Why don't they just Speak with God"? I guess it does help you get a "Job" or sell "books". And that likely sounds rude too. I guess it's just his version of existing as a "Disciple".

Do not judge so that you will not be judge. There will be poor among you (even the poor in the spirit). Emotions will run wild (The Fruit of the Spirit). At the end of it all. Daniel 7: 1-28/end will prevail (Daniel 7: 13, “The Son of Man”). He has PREVAILED. Nearness to The Son of Man and tenderness of our hearts is the key to knowing Prince of Peace. How it is highly favored to the scope on the role of marriage and a divorce situation having taken place regarding the wife/woman & often mother role within the family? The facts are clear and the past has shown us mothers among divorce situations in cases has patterned statistics and valid proof of the mother having to now rear children as the father is now absent in all manner of the event, front view being seen and regarded as not fulfilling the fathers responsibility and role as the patriarch of the group. Many opinions are obvious and while many mothers are left jobless having been mainly home managers or housewife to the family and overseeing the childs main source of authority guidance and nurturing source that is a commonplace most often presence in the childs life since birth, any child will seek its mothers nurture on all levels instinctively and as awareness takes place honing their identification of that source it will be the parent whom is most engaged with their child. If a father leaves and does nothing more he fails to sustain a life he took volley and front row involvement in the intercourse as the mother took the same equal action in the event which pregnancy was the result now a baby has a mother and a missing father. Tragic as the divorce event can and has been is drastic to say the least. The father is a human being aslo and pointing things out let it be clear in focus many fathers as humans have the physical weight of now economically a chaotic budget to manage with many times not a well suitable earning wage or the ability to earn enough to now support two households. Many men divorced past the age of 35 with children in the wake post divorce commit suicide and the percentage tally is beyond alarming ringing in at 71% of them as of 2018-2019. As baroque and further clearer additional facts lament the father in a seemingly scornful and disdaining manner beginning not inside the marriage union but certainly amplified within the justice system leaving him with zero assets and zero defense as the viewpoint of the court system is placed fully upon the children and mother seen as unable to support herself which is critically untrue as moms plenty more than less have as much suitable careers that already exist or are developed after the divorce many of whom earn more than the father had or could. Let it be understood as a view and one that can be examined to determine whats best for every person involved not just the children which are first bar none yet that cemented view does not render both parents equally for the very result of it is one sided with underlying facts not taken into any serious care of human life. We cannot save the child if they stand to and 71% do lose their father in the aftermath. The father is exiled often shunned vastly worse than any woman seen as a mother without a husband and both openly and silently especially by the social groups around her is deemed a whore or worse. The entire event is the loss of life on one or more levels if not every aspect of all of them. The dad walks with no assets of his own earning and hard work is sullied. The mom gets the kids and the assets but gets the future income of more than 50% in many states and the dad is now homeless with the job lost many times for having the now new added costs of some overwhelming facts. Many dads make it to the resolve and that changes them as many of them are indeed alienated by the mothers persecution which is a source of fuel for adding to an already raging fire. The kids will follow their leader as the authority power in their life, if mom says dad is a scumbag the kids are indeed effected the most hands down some grow up and reconnect to learn on a more consistent outcome that dad still loves their babies, and mom was wrong about you hating and putting you down all those years. We see these stories unfold all you have to do to find them is search and read evidence of the cases and the ongoing most constant stubborn presence involved is the court system utterly failing not only societal view of what family is but shouts what they say it will be or else. There is no argument but the argument and it supports the divide not the needs after the severing. The severed lives is the loss of life to a higher degree than many really took time to look at and find a better way of resolving the many tragic events that leave the very meaning and foundation of union in ashes. Every person in the family needs to be involved fully or it dies on the vine. Divorce severely scars everyone and over the top kills dads as an extension of much needed focus. Not all dads are deadbeats or poor leaders. Not all moms are stable leaders or deadbeats and can get involved work and a housewife chores do not excuse the lack of her ability to cooperate with dads in a better light for the kids most of all so they dont lose dad and dad doesnt lose his kids. The pain in it is unbearable even if the love of the parents is now out of focus. The courts will never involve love as love by favor absolves unconditionally. Is that a big problem? I think its the biggest one. Just my 2 cents in respect to all souls in a family now apart. Maybe the lust is gone there is no way the love will die you cannot destroy eternal power.

Thank you Dale Martin for providing your lectures. I have been looking for answers all my life that couldn’t be answered by the church or Sunday School. Everyone tells you to just read the Bible, but I mostly had difficulty reading it myself and not really understanding what I was reading. I don’t know why, but I find comfort in finally learning, whether it proves true or false, the book that has profoundly affected my life.

I am so wowed with Dale Martin, his Teacing and his works. Listening to the complete Yale Class Series of History:New Testament, I just just feel like I'm in "the most value experience of class/study/Thought", that I've ever have experienced. He is "the Best Instructor/Teacher/Presenter" I have ever listened to, "and I've a vast amount of Student/Research/Study time". Can't believe Dale Martin was teaching at Rhodes when I still lived in Memphis. I drove down N Parkway daily, lived in Midtown, was Marketing Mgr at St Joe Hospital 1985 - 1991. I'm a graduate of the University of Memphis, Oh, Yale truly must have loved having this brilliant man. Looking for resources on Jesus around time he with the Escenes, and trying to gather his teachings that were likely a bit Gnostic and yet as a practicing Jew. I plan to get the book Dale recommends on Historical Jesus. To have 30 minutes with that man's mind, well I'm certain it would probably be more like an hour. lol To not be able to ask Questions while studying through his class series was torture. I am a believing christian and i am convinced that the way professor martin read the bible is the best way. Fundamentalist way of reading would seem to trip all over contradictions in the text while through an honest critical reading of the holy scriptures we can appreciate the literary value of them better.
