Check out that monorail pass at 37:20! Departing Shin-Osaki Station in Tokyo for the Yokohama City Air Terminal on a gloomy and rainy May day at rush hour, before heading off to Nagoya. Sorry for the weird clicking sound at points. The GoPro was on a dampener to prevent shakes, but the window ledge still rattled against it occasionally.

This was supposed to cover the full ride from Maebashi (Gunma Prefecture) to Tokyo Station, but my GoPro decided to die around Kumagaya Station, so the last half must wait until next time. For now, enjoy the quiet rural-ish scenery of Gunma and Saitama Prefectures

My favourite walking circuit in Japan: starting from Queen's Square Yokohama and continuing along the harbourfront passing Cosmoworld, World Porters and the Red Brick Warehouse before finally arriving at Yamashita Kouen. Had it not been insanely busy due to Golden Week, I would have capped the walk off with a stroll through Chinatown. Next time...

Then, in the bottom of the 9th, your teammate made an error, which would have given you the final out. Instead, the next batter hits a walk-off home run. Man.

3700 high schools participate all Japan high school base ball tournament in every year. The victory high school is respectable.
Is there a reason why teams have to wear white in these tournaments? With my very little knowledge of Japanese I braved myself diving into Japanese baseball instagram and found these high school teams have colored uniforms and actually wear them in internal games and local tournaments.
There are no regulations regarding the color of the uniforms in the rules of high school baseball. However, there is a rule that shirts and pants should be the same color.

The popularity there is like college football or basketball in America but the atmosphere there is way better for baseball because the Japanese are smart people and know what sport is the most beautiful of them all.

High school baseball players play baseball as hard as they can to win the championship. The students who cheer for them also cheer hard, hoping for the victory. The tears that the players shed when they lose a close game are very moving. PS: More interesting than Japanese professional baseball. I’m Japanese and grew up watching this Koshien tournament every summer. High school baseball is really popular in Japan even among people who are not so into baseball. It means so much for the players and the entire school to win the tournament, and so they put a lot of efforts in playing and cheering. It’s like summer can’t end without Koshien 😂
Man major didn't focus much on koshien. Dia no ace did it. So major brought me to mlb and dia no ace here
