Please bring music and song like this back on New Years Eve on at least one channel for us to enjoy. It's dire nowadays (in my humble opinion )
I remember my folks having a knees up on Hogmanay to wee Andy, Jimmy Shand the Alexander brothers etc. Nowadays it would be more like a wake with the rubbish they put on.
You are so right my friend,TV on Hogmanay is dire nowadays.
We have more channels than ever before, yet less choice of good programmes than ever before.

@@ivandinsmore6217 Now viewed as old fashioned I suppose. Entertainment styles change. Andy's personal popularity kept stuff like this going way beyond its real sell buy date I think. Sad it's an era that's over though.
