Your supposed to run it to full operating temp and break the check plug on the drivers side. To ensure its filled correctly.

Nice video. On all wheel drive vehicles it’s also a good idea to do the drain and refill of the PTU or power transfer unit at the same time. It uses a different type of oil. And do the same at the rear differential (again on the AWD units). I believe the drain and refill on all three of them is every 30 K miles. You used the right oil; Mercon LV. I believe the PTU uses synthetic because of the heat it is exposed to.

Hey I have a 09 335ixdrive I did new transmission pan about 5 months ago it’s was cracked cars been good since & today in the morning it had problems shifting from 2nd to 3rd & transmission light came on went back home took the key out restarted it and the light went away I didn’t drive it had to go to work but I hope it was just a error 😅

Hey you are truly a goat & we really appreciate your help foreal some of us been having this problem for years months & months specially me couldnt figure out what it was & everyone kept sayin its the throttle body position sensor tha t needs to be replace. I spent 2hunned on a throttle thinking it was that think god i was broke to it back & found your video months later problem went away but the engine still barley revs takes forever to get up to high speed ina try this & hopefully itll solved the problem
