Yep. Your not wrong. The developer was inspired but only has game-play inspired. The rest is it's own game. This was a a Linux workstation homebrew game made in to honer the Original developer. Who died. this takes place after the original game.

This is running on a emulated 68k amiga.
Instead of a X86 dos machine.

XD. Kinda Does. Your not wrong. The amiga uses palatized textures. Much like the PS1. But no texture wobble.
The only real difference the Amiga can run in a Higher resolution mode.

Yep. Kinda. Uses a the first Unreal Engine.
Unreal was a tough competitor for Quake II at the time. The scenario of this game really looks deeper when running on Linux compared to Windows.
