The most haunting piece of music from my early jazz years while 13 years old, 9r so, was his cut from Burbeck's Concord album, Softly, William, Softly. That was in the early nineties, pre-internet, and without ability to hear from the artist or the recording engineers, etc , to understand his use of electronic reverb, I was tormented by his amazing, freah artistry.
