Never usually post on these thins but for what it's worth Kyle I think you were making some fairly balanced points and Phil was a bit all over the place, contradicting himself and as a guest on your show maybe could have been a bit more respectful and listen to what you were saying. Don't get me wrong I like Phil for the most part and respect his opinion but feel he was bit out of line here and he may not agree with me which is absolutely fine. Good show lads keep it up!

I disasgree, I think ETH sent his players to the pitch with the wrong strategy. Liverpool was desperate to win by all means. Antony may be a one trick pony but ETH can be one too. ETH should know that Liverpool would be attacking and that by now managers of opposing clubs would know by playing the longball, they can bypass Wout Weghorst. Liverpool scored many goals from counter attacks on home soil, same as what United did at home 22-08-22. It was wrong to try and dominate the game with fullbacks like Shaw and Dalot. Malacia and Wan are better in simple instructions like man marking Salah and Darwin. All their strikers scored 2 goals each. That says more about the United defence. The United players were lost and ETH didnt change to the right strategy;counter football. In fact, all ETH had to do was bench Wout and let Maguire play. With Maguire playing, the rest of the players would stay closer, compact together to compensate/cover Maguire’s flaws, preventing getting countered attack so often. Yes they ran less than the Liverpool players but when you are unsure how/where to run, you simply run less. This big loss could’ve been prevented by ETH, not by the players.
