It’s a hundred years since prevailing fashion compelled the media to christen someone the ‘King of Jazz’. They un-ironically anointed someone aptly named Paul Whiteman. For all the reasons that may raise an eyebrow, not least should be that this is not really jazz at all. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to play it would I.
