hall effect WHILE being low profile? i never knew this would come out, but it's very cool! i'm not a big fan of low profiles, but i could totally see a lot of gamers who want a low profile keyboard use this!

Just in time. The vid i was waiting for. How do you feel about using it for production|typing? People complain about the HE effect making it difficult for production use. That and also mistyping due the fingers pressing multiple caps because of the "unuasual" alligment.

Great review! Really appreciate the latency chart you put up, as it shows that the keyboard can be used in a solely wired mode (no other source I looked into would confirm this). It's an attractive product all around. Sounds cool, nice colors, and looks well-made. I want a solid but aesthetically pleasing keyboard for work and have little interest in modding, so this is a pretty convenient package.

I just recently got into clicky switches and found the Kailh Box V2. I will say I was shocked big time when I first used them, they sound clean with no scratchiness and somehow how a decent thock with the right build. HOWEVER with these I feel like Akko really missed the mark with these; they sound around the same as a normal blue clicky switch, not clean, not thocky, no "creamy" and little to no redeemable features outside of the nice color way imo. Love Akko stuff lately but these are a hard pass for me. Also seriously great stuff with the channel I love your reviews and the clean edits good job!

I finally ordered one (during the black friday sales for 112 usd) I was torn between this and chilkey nd75. I could have bought nd75 locally for 140 usd but decided to get rd75 instead. Did you get a pp plate? I wanted to order one with the keyboard but iso layout wasn't in stock so it didn't make too much sense to but ansi pp plate.

I checked the spreadsheet from your description but I don't see Ajazz AK820 Max HE rated in there. So I don't know if you tested it without setting the keyboard with the lowest actuation point and I also don't see Woonting there. So idk

Have you tried to measure latency in 1k polling rate? I just guessing, but thing is that apparently wired version has worse controller then wireless? Since there diffrent software for wired/tri mode version, which for wired has less function and looks not good at all. So I wouldn't be surprised if there some pcb problem and 8k polling rate unstable or firmware is awful for wired version, but maybe both of them is just bad if you look at performance

Great review! I really appreciate the latency test. The Field75 HE latency lower than this one’s for some reason. But then, it’s only 6-7 ms slower than the Wooting, which isn’t bad at all. Do you plan to review the Air60 HE?

Kailh box is still the best of clicky

mine arrived a couple of days ago without top mount package, silicagel mount package and leaf spring mount package. Ah, and with no silicone pads as well. Very disappointing. apart from that, in BT mode keyboard hanged 2 times, only power off/on restarted it. Hope that firmware update will increase stability (there is some crashes fixes in latest firmware description)

What are your opinions on the keycaps? Are the legends printed consistently? I really love the colour and want to pick up a set for myself

was the keyboard ran at 8k hz when u did the latency test? 7.2 is pretty high. Why didn't u test it at the (highest sensitivity) for this kb?

I know exactly what you're thoccing about! I had a batch of the Feker Marbles that came in my Galaxy80 if I'm correct, and I lubed them and stuck them into my AL71 for a nice result :D The Galaxy80 now permanently (ahem) uses my BSUN Roselles. The sound so very much depends on the keycap density, profile and material. Nowadays when I want to switch keycaps on a board, I immediately get my switch sample sets out when the keycaps aren't the same as the ones I take off :D (Hmmm and perhaps the fact that I'm just very picky about small differences, haha)
