Interesting carrier. It seems to be made out of helipads and a control tower from the map editor. The thing is the latest v0.28 that came out a few days ago added actual carriers, but it operates the exact same way. The Hyperion carrier is a Russian/Chinese/Indian Navy ski-jump carrier with angled decks and arrestor wires. Interestingly, you can operate Crickets from it, but the Cricket has no tail hook. Just land and brake as best you can. Or use the one carrier plane that does have a hook, the Ifrit instead.

This map is ALL about road bases and I'm all for it.

"it went like supernova" -Grey i have to say, "it went like a normal explosion". you have to look up what a real supernova looks like, especially you wouldnt be save from ~200 KM, nor from 2000 KM. according to google an supernova explosion blast radius is 42 - 55 AU which is 6,283e+9 KM, im not a mathematican but this should be 6,283,000,000,000 KM blast radius. rip your ship at 200 KM, it will be vaporized.

Know a few guys who fly yak-52s irl, they say DCS's fidelity is outstanding

yak-52 is one of my favorite DCS modules. I like playing with the "old dirty yak" skin that's on the user files site, and turning up the rate of random failures.
