He's definitely a superb composer !! I love the voicings he tends to use in his harmony as well has how strong his polyphonic melodies tend to be.

Yea, I have noticed it actually. Sometimes I think he might've instinctually written similar material for various movies. I think he was much more of an instinctual writer than maybe a writer who mostly or solely relies on their technique. With that comes a lot of repetition in themes etc. I tend to write instinctually too but recently, I've changed my writing process up to where I at least record in a journal my used motifs/themes, so that I don't end up repeating ideas between projects.

Yea, whenever I'm in a tough moment for writing (especially for orchestration choices), I tend to go on YT and find various examples of orchestration that match the vibe that I'm going for. Sometimes that's film scores but surprisingly, most times its me referencing classical composers from them old days lol!! Good luck to you on your upcoming film project btw! Thank you !! Yea, I totally love the longform content muuuuuuuuch more than the short form. I prefer using capcut to simply generate short form pieces from the longer and posting them to the socials like IG,TikTok
