First of all, always remember that people most people playing open seas, don't really wanna engage in combat, like for example these guys were carrying an order of sould Emissary flag, which means they're probably just trynna earn some money, but then again Sea of Thieves is also about pirating and stealing treasure. Just remember that, unless you're attacking reaper's, they're probably not there for the combat. That being said, my first pvp advice would be to go easy on the fire bombs. While firebombs can be useful, they're mostly effective against larger ships, especially galleons, though they can create havoc on sloops aswell, but don't use them till you've put a lot of holes in your enemy's ship. Second, try to aim for the front part of the ship, especially the canons and the mast, since this will be most problematic for your enemy. The mast is the most vital point, and from your distance, I would always load Chainballs first in order to demast the enemy, beacuse then they're pretty much just a sitting duck for the rest of the game (and remember that chainballs are heavier, so always aim a bit higher when firing chainballs). If they then try and fix the mast, you'll have to aim for the upper part of the ship to stom them from raising the mast. Also ALWAYS bring a cannonball crate. This might seem a bit excessivem but bringing a cannonball crate means that you dont have to run to the barrels, and also the cannonball crates only store cannonballs so you won't accidently pick up fireworks or firebombs. I don't know if you're playing solo, but I notice that you're overstearing a slight bit as the enemy starts moving. This is not a big problem, as you're clearly still able to hit them, but as a rule of thumb, you always wanna be able to hit the enemy connoneer, to prevent him from firing back. A very, very important tip is, that you have to turn up your volume, because, especially when playing solo, the only time you want to go downstairs is when you hear the screetching sound from downstairs. Going downstairs, when not about to sink is a waste of your time, and especially if you have cannon angle, which you had. Then I notice you throwing out the water upstairs, which you dont wanna do. The only place to dispose of water on a sloop is the right window by the stairs, simply because this is faster. I also notice that you're eating coconuts, which is fine if you're not plannig on pvping, but the single most important thing when pvping is having proper food, because this will save you from dying. You ALWAYS wanna eat pineapple or cooked meat, which you can get form fortresses or outpost glitches. And last but not least, always lookout and listen for enemy players. You can hear them, when they board you're ship, though it's hard, but if you see one on your ship like you did at 1:37, your first priority should be to take him out. Also you could deduce that he wast there, when you heart him chopping up your teammate, which would've given you the element of surprise when taking him out. Also if you neither heard him nor saw him at 1:37, remember that if you're teammate is dead, then it probably means, that someone boarded your ship. In this case the best way to take them out is using a Blunderbuss or a Cutlass (in by experience). There a lots of tutorials out there, but these are just things, I wished someone had told me when I started playing.

They don’t exactly do more damage, but they let In more water, the hole damage level is the same
