Thanks for the help....but it messed all the formatting...my document went from an invoice to a bunch of text...lost logo, etc. I guess I need a PDF editor.

ive tried this 3 times but the document will not get into the AUTOMATOR(dragging) help 911!!
you have to save your automator application first then drag and drop over that saved application.

So everything was good until the very end when I dragged and drop nothing shows up on word

You have to drag & drop into the automator first to convert to a word editable format RTF.
jan c he did that he is saying the RTF no text is popping up its just blank
Same here. A scanned document opens it in a preview format. Still calls it a pdf, but when the rtf is made, it's blank. Did you ever get an answer?
