    HI, thank you for the tutorial. What do I do if the autoholes feature in archimesh makes my walls disappear?

      Well I guess that it depends. If the windows of the scene are just for show and being able to have transparency applied to them is a non issue, you can just turn auto holes off... assuming that is not the case, I am not totally sure. It depends on the specifics of your project. Sometimes weird things happen i.e. autohole not working etc... In the window group, there is a CTRL_Hole, I wonder if that is part of the issue. Can you give me a bit more information about the problem?

      So I played with it a bit more, and it turns out that there is a toggle next to auto holes for "only selected" that was switched off. When I toggled that on it fixed the problem. Thanks again!

      @@MrBenPi but I also found that just using using the boolean modifier tool is much simpler.

    how do you delete a polygon or get it back to the edit mode after accepted so you can move points around. is that possible?

      Yes. Thank you for the question. Just undo, or Ctrl Z. And then select "Paste Last Polygon". Please let me know if that helps.

    Thanks for the really useful info on these videos. Do you know how to get the rotation of a mesh after it's rotation has been applied?

      Assuming that you are talking about finding the rotation of a selected object via BPY, I would do something like this: import bpy from mathutils import Quaternion # Assume the active object is the selected mesh obj = bpy.context.active_object # Get the rotation in quaternion rotation_quaternion = obj.rotation_euler.to_quaternion() print("Rotation Quaternion:", rotation_quaternion)

    Very literal title lol Instead of double clickicking, F2 is the windows "rename selected file" command that works in blender, so you don't have to use your mouse Also the Holt Tools addon has a "rename suffixes" button so .001 .002 become _1 _2 if that's of any use

      In the case of .001 and .002 to _1 and _2, you can press ctrl+F2 and do a find and replace '.001' to '_'.

    The thing is you never know which object to select to move the entire thing. Once the parenting is done... who the parent is... is not obvious.

      Good observation and probably something that I should have mentioned. The hierarchy is nonobvious in the 3d window, however the items are arranged by their relationship in the Outliner window on the right side of the default view. I will do a revision in the near future. Thank you for the input.
