Very shallow movie. OK, there is this wicked abusive guy, whose interests in life are basically sex, beating women and grabbing money illegally. Why did the wife tolerate him? Are there lawyers and police there? Then the movie ends with a very bad idea; it is OK to get away with crime, they (supposedly the good guy and gal) seize this money illegally and go to Vince or whatever. Is that what they are trying to teach young people? Doing Bad or evil is OK?

At 21.00, the questions as to how the husband afforded the initial payments on the life assurance policy are quite irrelevant. The Assurance company must have been happy to accept the moneys at the time, no questions asked, otherwise the policy wouldn't have been approved; as it clearly was. Any doubts should be raised back then. Sure, the guy is pulling a fast one, but the investigators need to relearn their job description (investigate the facts, if any, as they emerge, & don't jump to conclusions ["it is a capital mistake to theorise in advance of the facts, because then there is a tendency to try to fit the facts to the theories instead of fitting the theories to the facts" - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle]). Looks like a good story, & many thanks for the upload 👍.
