There were certain voices the encapsulated House music when I was clubbing/DJ'ing. This was one of them!! The great sound of Martha, along with Jocelyn Brown, Adeva, India (La India). Also, honourable mentions for Loleatta Holloway and Candi Staton.

As like myself they came from Edinburgh. Well the guys did, I think Pauline was from London. I will guess you are referring to "Still haven't found what I'm looking for". Caron Wheeler, smooth singer! Most people would go for "Back to life". My personal fave was "Keep on movin'". Whitney "I'm your baby tonight" great track. I would throw in "Love will save the day". Also, don't forget The Brand New Heavies with N'Dea Davenport. Could waffle on for ages, but I will not subject you to that... 🕺💃
