That's truly an amazing revelation...Noah, the preacher of righteousness, condemned the world by his good works: building the ark. There were many born of The Spirit in Noah's day..., that did not make it on board the ark; and they were unaware.

When one feels the excitement in sharing with the close ones on how it feels to finally finding fellowship and....you see their gaze pierce through you, the person you were to them falls on empty or a sudden urge to help you through the misguided concern you've just evoked, then you knowthe Father has been prepping you .May the Lord protect you

GOD's honing, builds character and teaches wisdom. We will go through life's 'trials' anyway. Why not go through them with GOD adding an understanding of a purpose for those 'trials'? How miserable to go through the tough times without 'GOD support', or to be successful and still feel empty with no feeling of purpose for life. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mark 8:36 GOD created us with purpose because HIS plans included us before we were created in our mother's womb. We were created to accomplish a specific job for the Glory of GOD. Isn't that amazing? 😎 GOD's good idea, makes you GOD's good idea! Whatever your purpose for being here is, it is to fulfill HIS purpose for HIS Glory. "For I am confident of this very thing, that HE who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 You are Loved by Almighty GOD. You are made of stardust by the LORD and creator of all creation. You know you have seen HIS fingerprints on yourself! Washing feet was done by bond servants and slaves.

Christ came to serve and nor be served. We are called to be the same. The title Pastor is defined as a servant. Not a lord.

Of all his lessons, the lesson of humility and the lesson of forgiveness are the ones that Jesus taught me that have the most impact. Patience, I had to learn that one for myself 😉

So who was he expecting to wash the dishes, the woman that wasn't there?

Too many generations were taught to not serve each other, not to be His imitators, all for the sake of not sounding Catholic. Our love for our Lord drives us to serve as He served. It's time for protestants to acknowledge this as scriptural & the same as what Catholics teach. Faith without works is dead. Sounds like the congregations are waking up but the pastor missed the scripture.

If Christ didn't do the work, blind men would have never seen, Lazarus and the little girl would not have been raised from the dead, the thousands would not have had anything to eat, the wine would have run out at the wedding, no one would have followed him and most importantly we would have had no hope in reuniting with God the Father.

thank YOU, this was very WELL done. I was just thinking about this today. A woman shows the characteristics of Christ the MOST but yet, she is the number one to be unalived and abused by her very own husband or even other men. She is undervalued and discarded when she gets old. I would REALLY REALLY like to see, this type of lesson taught to young men so that they can appreciate what the Lord has blessed them with.

Thanks for bringing it up, seems like that there are some who has forgotten what it is to be the head/leader, etc of a congregation. Those I got most respect for of officers in military, was those who rolled up their sleeves and joined us in work or who encouraged us, or went as a good example. The same in Synagoges and Churches and workplaces, etc. The leader is suppose to be someone that others want to follow, that goes forth with a good example, as Messiah went forth with a good example, being king, knowing how to serve.

Unfortunately met a lot of pastors like this in my experience. Especially the ones that insist on titles like reverend.

Never in my life have I been around a pastor that wouldn’t wash the dishes. As a matter of fact, they would volunteer to be the first and last to do it. I find it hard to believe this story.

Being a pastor/preacher is actually the lowest of servant roles in the church. If your pastor is not like that, then hes doing it wrong.

Sounds very similar to a certain event in Jesus's walk here on Earth, funny that a pastor is so lost. Hope he finds his way becuase he should not shepard others without a heart of service for others
