@@doodlesandcalm Oooh exciting!! I love watching bullet journalling and book journalling content, but it would be interesting to see if there are any ways you made *you* specific journalling. (For example, I have a Dungeon Master journal for my dungeons and dragons game that uses bullet journalling basics, but it's kinda my own thing ^^; ) Oooor! Any other products that you use for your journalling/just general stationary use, even product reviews. But, to be fair, my favourite content is when you do your book journalling, so maybe a monthly review of books you've read, talk about them and show how you put them in your journal in a longer video?

I’m working my way through 2 reading journal setups- one for long term collections like owned books, authors to note, and favourite tropes etc, and one in the back of my planner for my yearly running list of books read/dnf’d, monthly stats, and reviews. I use StoryGraph to take notes so I can take my time setting them up the way I want them

I really like this idea. Writing things down when you’re anxious or overwhelmed with emotion can be super helpful in and of itself! Maybe it would work well for someone without neurodivergency. My plan would be nice and extensive. I’d spend hours writing about it. Then I would do absolutely nothing and feel even more worried about the problem getting worse, which would be compounded with guilt and self-hatred for not doing anything, and I’d become paralyzed with anxiety and stress. Any ideas about how to actually implement your plan if you have ADHD, ASD, PDA, or any other form or combination of neurodivergence??
So I don’t have any experience with any of those forms of neurodivergence personally so truly wouldn’t be able to say accurately (& i’m not a professional therapist or anything, this is purely all from my own experience managing depression & anxiety & the coping mechanisms i was taught) However, with anything that causes anxiety and stress, I would always say break the plan into 1 small actionable FIRST step. Reducing overwhelm is the priority. Either do the one small step straight away to kick off momentum & reduce the guilt because you did do 1 thing OR block the first step in your diary for a specific day & time & affirm yourself by saying we’ve done literally everything we could do, we’re trying & that’s okay. I give myself permission to let this go & on specific day & specific time blocked we will start this, I am in control etc. Another thing is you could create your own framework you always follow for writing plans to keep it structured & focussed to prevent overwhelm. A column that says “date” a column that says “time” “action” You get the point - you’ll find your own framework based on what the regular struggles tend to be (usually stress management for me.. so one framework / reminder i could have written on a post it in a journal etc is “first take 3 slow breaths before writing this plan & don’t get stressed out when it is written!” etc)
Again apologies if any of that is really not suitable for the forms of neurodivergence - hopefully it gives a steer into what you needed in some small way 💜

Just got mine. Had to change some pages to what I needed as I am starting Oct 2022 and I'm doing it up until Oct 2023. As I didn't read anything up until now. But over all I love this.

Yes! I was a bit confused with the genres and books & pages spreads so this was helpful :) I'm setting my journal up now, I'm so excited! I'm editing mine just a little, like I never read thru audiobook so I'm gonna cross that out and track days when I read physical and ebooks in a day instead. and for my pages read, I'm gonna put higher numbers since I usually read quite a bit in a sitting haha but i love your spreads and that I can still tweak the pages for my own needs! I feel like this will help me reach my 50 book goal for the year since I failed in 2019 and 2020 💕
