Hi, For 15 days - about 1100 to 1300 USD should be enough (exclusive of airfare) - assuming you are a solo traveller. As a solo traveller, I stayed in a hostel - At Funicular. However, based on your need, you can find many hotels with good ratings on booking.com. If you are only visiting Tbilisi then its better to select a decent hotel for your 15 day stay - Tbilisi is a smaller city as compared to other larger metros such as paris, berlin etc., hence you can select a hotel near the Liberty Square area. Hi, In my experience, travelling across Georgia is safe for a woman solo traveller. However, the Kazbegi region is quite remote in relation to the major cities such as Tbilisi or Kutaisi. Hence, I would recommend taking part in a full day group tour organized by travel agencies such as Budget Georgia. Hope this helps!

Hi, Yes the above is correct. After deboarding at Kutaisi Airport Railway Station - there is a free bus shuttle to Kutaisi International Airport (about 10 mins travel time). Once you are at the Kutaisi International Airport, you can book a cab via Bolt or Yandex Go to Kutaisi City Centre. There are very few cab options at Kutaisi Airport Railway station (Bolt and Yandex Go doesn't work there). Hence, better to travel to Kutaisi International Airport and book a cab. Hope this helps.

Hello, Yes you can purchase a prepaid phone at the Tbilisi International airports arrival hall. Please look out for kiosks of Magti or Cellfie. Alternatively you can find many shops which seel prepaid phones within Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi.

Hi, Do you mean the bus shuttle from Tbilisi Airport to Tbilisi Railway Station? The Buses within Tbilisi operate between 7 am to 12 pm. In my experience, they are infrequent and often crowded. If you wish to travel from Tbilisi Airport to Tbilisi Railway Station - I would recommend - booking a cab via Bolt or Yandex Go. It should cost you around 30 Lari and is very efficient. Hi, In order to withdraw cash or exchange currencies - there are many outlets which provide these services in Kutaisi. You can visit a nearby Western Union office. Also, there are a lot of foreign exchange service providers near the Green Bazaar market area. Hope this helps😇

Hi, I am technically not from India. However, Yes, I had purchased the Georgia Train tickets from outside Georgia. You can visit - tre.ge/en or tkt.ge/en/railway Please note - The train tickets need to be purchased 2 weeks before the scheduled travel date as these get sold off. I would recommend trying with a different browser or a different machine without the use of VPN. Hope this helps.

You can rent a car in Tbilisi. There are a few car rental shops in Tbilisi. Georgia law does not allow non-US citizens, non-resident drivers to operate a motor vehicle if he or she does not have lawful status in the United States. Non-US citizens should present their Foreign/International License or Identification card to receive a Georgia license or Identification card.

I had taken the Stradler train from Tbilisi Central Railway Station to Kutaisi International Airport Station. The travel time was 3 hrs and 30 mins. They do not sell anything on these trains. However, there are vending machines within some of the coaches. You can either purchase snacks via the vending machine or bring your own snacks. It is allowed to eat in the train. Hope this helps😇

Along the border there is a checkpoint called Lars Checkpoint. Its the crossing between Georgia and Russia.

If you wish to stay in Georgia for a longer duration then I would recommend staying in Tbilisi. Kutaisi is quite small compared to Tbilisi. Batumi is another big city on the black sea coast. It will depend on your preference in terms of weather and the places you wish to travel. Overall Georgia is a very safe place and you will find long term accommodation in all the georgian cities.

Georgia is a very beautiful country. The people here are very hospitable and nice. This country is historically and culturally very rich. I personally stayed in both Tbilisi and Kutaisi and had a wonderful time.😇

Hostel in which I stayed at in Tbilisi - At Funicular Hostel Hostel in which I stayed at in Kutaisi - Black Tomato I had booked both of these hostels via Booking.com Kutaisi as a city is very small compared to Tbilisi. Most of the major attractions within Kutaisi can be visited within 1 day. However, there are many day trips from Kutaisi which you can book. It depends on how long you are in Georgia. If you are in Georgia for less than 7 days then I would say skip Kutaisi. But if you are in Georgia for around 10 days then you can spare 2 days in Kutaisi and distribute the rest between Tbilisi and Batumi. Hope this helps!

Yes, I had purchased the sim card at the Tbilisi airport on arrival. There are many vendors present at the arrival gate. You can use the airport wi-fi as its free to use. The activation of the pre-paid sim card is a very easy and quick process. Hope this helps.😇

The same thing I'm experiencing as well. There's 123go, but the prices are a little extra there cos they forcefully give you travel insurance as well. Vipin bhai, were you able to do your tickets? And what month are you going?

Thanks for your recommendations. Will surely keep them in mind.😇 With regards to restaurants - In Tbilisi - I would recommend - 'Pasanauri' - this restaurant is located very close to the Liberty Square (city centre). If you are looking to try authentic georgian cuisine then this place is the best. The quality of food is good and its quite affordable. In Kutaisi - I would recommend - 'Palaty' - this restaurant also specializes in georgian cuisine. However, on the weekends - it might get crowded. The food and overall ambience is awesome. In Batumi - I would recommend - 'Golden Adjara' - this restaurant is located right next to the Black Sea. It has incredible views of the Black Sea and the food is also very good. With regards to Tours in Georgia - I had pre-booked the Kazbegi Tour via Klook.com. The tour agencies name - Gamarjoba Georgia Tours The tour is very well organized and there is ample time to explore the various places on our own as well. The tour guides are very accommodating and share a ton of historical information. As a solo traveller, I also prefer to make my own arrangements and travel to different places. However, within Georgia - if you wish to travel to Kazbegi, Kakheti or any other region then it becomes very difficult to make arrangements. You can rent a car but it becomes quite expensive for a single person. I generally prefer to rent motorbikes or scooters but those are non-existent in Georgia Hence, It becomes easier to book a full day tour which cover many places at once. Georgia in itself is a very tourist focused economy so you will find many tour agencies within Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi. Hope this helps!

Hi, Yes September to October mid would be peak season. I would recommend book your hotel and flight tickets atleast 2 months in advance. I am not sure about tour prices as I travel solo. Hi, No - once a person is deported from Mauritius. They cannot be allowed to enter the country again.

The highway from Boulders beach to Cape pf Good Hope is awesome and mostly empty. I was riding at around 30-40 kmph and enjoying the scenery. However, it is incredibly windy once you enter the Cape of Good National Park. My scooter was shaking horribly due to the wind when I had parked it at the Lighthouse.
