I really appreciate your enthusiasm and love for animals but my opinion says if you don’t have much more space than the normal suggested space for Guinea pigs especially two of them then do not take on the responsibility for them. What I’ve learned from the two girls I found abandoned is that they need at least 8-10 square feet of space and it takes a lot of creativity on my part to keep them occupied and not bored
Right, and I understand that, but my Mom won’t allow me to get anything bigger, so until I move out, that’s what they have!😕 And my Guinea pigs don’t get bored!🙃

its nice size id just suggest adding around 2x as much hay as they eat twice there body size! id either put it in a hay bag or just a big pile, theyre very cute! lmk if you need any tips ive had pigs for awhile.
That’s a great tip! I appreciate it! I’ve been having to fill up their hay everyday, and it’s crazy how much they’re eating it!! I’ll definitely be looking into stuff to fix that!
Looks good! Also, i know you mentioned in your upgrade video that you weren't sure how they were gonna use the top level of the hammock. Fun fact: guinea pigs can jump! And they can jump higher than you'd think, lol!
Oh! I’ve never seen mine jump tho, and they’ve never gotten on the top, so maybe mine aren’t jumpers!🤣

In the future if ur have money you should def upgrade them to a cc cage there really cheap to make but it currnt cage looks greats right but in the future for home to have extra running room !

Here’s just a recommendation, I would try fleece bedding since I’ve heard with guinea pigs that they go through a lot of bedding and it can save money to use fleece! A good pair of fleece liners can be a little expensive but if you make your own by using a fleece throw or even a towel, and putting a puppy pad under it, it can end up saving some money since you won’t be throwing out all that bedding all of the time! But some people do prefer bedding over fleece because you don’t have to wash bedding like you would with fleece. Sometimes fleece looks really good in the cage too and you can do some really cute themes as well! I would recommend looking up a few videos on RUclips sometime ❤ The piggies are so cute 🥰
That is a good idea for saving money, but I don’t know if that would make my mom very happy😅; she doesn’t allow me to wash animal stuff in the human washing machine, so she makes me wash it outside in a bucket!😂 And that’s a hassle!😅 I wish I could tho!!
@ThePiggiesWinnieandDolly I would at least change the type of shavings if I were you! Most forms of pine bedding isn't safe for small animals because it can cause resaptory issues! I would switch to aspen bedding, that's what I'm currently using in my bunnies litter boxes since I don't have the time to go to tractor supply and get pellet bedding!
