STARSHIP..Chris White A49 Mast Foil Interior...a little bit of work left to finish but we are leaving Chile. Alwoplast will complete the interior then remove the masts and store it in a shed until we come back in Oct/Nov, when it is spring down here, to start our journey.

Our test sail on StarShip, our new Chris White A49 Mast Foil catamaran, Valdivia, Chile. Wind up to 12 knots, max speed was 8 knots.

It is with a heavy heart that we have listed our beautiful catamaran for sale. We love this boat so much that we have ordered an A49....yes a classic case of 2 footitis! Our plan this time around is to spend more time in Patagonia, something we regret not doing with Barracuda X.

This summer we made a fast trip around the island looking for some bigger winds. It is so beautiful on the west coast of the island, it was a shame not to be able to spend more time exploring…a good reason to go back!

Part 2 of our trip starts after we leave Ketchikan at Keku Straight (Rocky Pass) and included whale watching, fabulous glaciers of Tracy Arm (North and South wing), whales, bears, Emily Carr Inlet and more. Enjoy!

Part 1 of 2 of our 2015 saiing trip starts with our Gulf Islands departure and ends at Ketchikan Alaska. We left early May and got as far north as Juneau AK before we decided the weather was taking a turn for the worse. Part 2 covers our time in Alaska and our return trip to Sidney BC early September. We had a scheduled 2 week trip back to our home in the middle.
