I began pinstriping today on some paper with One Shot and reducing with mineral spirits, is there a reason why the paint is fading kinda instantly? Could it be the paper? I spray painted it with a flat black enamel.

I cut into the underlay using a cutter - knife.
My only guess would be that you could use the light chalk that sign hand painters use, and a string to make chalk lines.
