I stumbled upon a page on my psy book and it was about giraffe penises, some kid having sexual desire for his mother and fear of being castrated by his father, and he also is afraid of horses.

The oral stage is when the infant is breastfeeding with the mother. When the mother breast feeds her hypothalamus releases oxytocin. There is the anal stage of sexual development which is the potty training stage. There is the puberty stage of sexual development and the latent stage when done going through puberty. You have different psychosexual fixations and sexual fetishes. You have the superego, ego and ID. The interpretation of dreams by Sigmund Freud.

So it was Sigmund Freud that came up with the theories of psychosexual developmental stages of life.

Why do teachers need to study this Issues on Human development?

Preconscious is not also known as the subconscious it’s actually the unconscious that’s also known as the subconscious. Unconscious = subconscious, both are the same thing. I suppose it doesn’t really matter if you understand it the same way. 👐
