My dear Chiara, may God and Our Lady be with you. At times in our lives, we may be tempted to feel hopeless. But do not let yourself be carried away by this feeling. Jesus said that we should ask, and it will be given to us, that we should knock, and the door will be opened. The problem is that we, in our small human nature, want our desires to be fulfilled in our own time. But God has His time. And this time of God is not to harm us; it is only because He knows all things and knows exactly what is necessary to lead us to salvation. So, just as Jesus asked in the Garden of Gethsemane to be spared from suffering, if possible, but that it be not His will, but the will of God, we must also ask for what our heart ardently desires. And this request must be accompanied by the trust that God knows all things, that His greatest desire is for us to reach Glory in heaven, and He will do whatever is necessary for that to happen, as long as we ask and trust that He is doing what is best for us. While you have not yet met the person who will be your husband, direct that love you have within you towards others. Help other people, bring comfort and joy to those around you who are also suffering. Live a Christian life of Faith, Hope, and Charity. We do not know God's plans, but He is a loving Father who knows everything that is in the hearts of His children and always wants the best for us. If you need to talk, I will always be here.
