I cried so much while hugging my little dogs who just had a surgery.. He wakes up if he doesn’t feel my body next to his… I kissed him and talked to him: I don’t understand how they can abandoned their baby forever when I can’t be away from you who are my pet and I’m sure my pet loves me more than a set of parents‼️😢😭

theres millions of kids worldwide that dream of somebody wanting them and giving them a loving home with no judgement . It's sad as there are so many lovely people in the world willing to take a child to give it love and a decent home . but laws stop these kids finding homes , the sad thing is this more happy outcomes with adoptions etc than sad , and kids are living on the streets with no hope or chance . so the government needs to weigh up the pros of adoption rather than the negatives, even if that child never gos college etc , the fact he has a loving home is better than living on the streets ,

i would love to adopt a teen from there , but sadly dont have a spare room , nobody wants teens and they need love and a home too , they are older and even more greatfull to be wanted by somebody who wants to care for them , love can totally change a persons life for the better.

I was adopted at three years but directly from my biological mother…I wish my adoptive family was so warm and open about my roots but it was quite the opposite and the whole experience was rather traumatising for me. The family were very abusive and totalitarian. I’m going back to visit my Romanian family in the next month, we’ve been talking for over three years and my younger brother visited them too, since he was also adopted. I’m so nervous, but these stories give me hope

That poor girl clearly wanted no part of any of this. This was way past what a 12 yr old needed to know or could handle. This was a performative piece to show how wonderful that adoptive mom was for adopting this girl and how lucky her adoptedvkid is to have her. It was gross. I just had o stop watching. That girl did not want to be there. I think shes said 3 words up to this point and its almost over. I hope she got therapy with an adoptive mom like that she needs it.

Ok that was just utterly disgusting in Nikolais' case. The father is not motivated to get a job, so they put this little boy through the worst trauma imaginable. And he will probably always wonder why him and not his little brother. Its just so clear that street children are like dogs in Romania , the way the Waiter kicked the child away like a dog. That wouldnt even happen to dogs here in Europe. Im happy that Alex got such kind and loving adoptive parents....one of few in Romania.

I cried through this whole story because this beautiful girl thank God was adopted and granted a beautiful life and I’m grateful she went back to see where she came from so she could understand the gift of her parents who are now raising her. I pray when she grows and matures, she will value the adoption that she had, and think of the parents that were not able to support and give her life Beyond her birth, but her grandparents will always be part of her life for their memory of raising her I could see the pain in their eyes when they finally met the granddaughter that they had to give up. In watching this story it really touched the depth of my heart and it told me that humanity is so sacred and I’m just grateful that this child out of Romania got something that was so blessed that I could See in front of my eyes via the story I hope and pray that you grow up to be a beautiful girl, and be grateful from where you came, but rise above all of that, and become something even more powerful. You have a beautiful story to tell and if you live a beautiful adult life, you will grow and become a remarkable woman…… I came from the past very similar to yours and I have become a very successful woman in my adult life. God bless you and God bless the family that adopted you and may your family in Romania, cherish that you have a good life.!

I’ve never wanted children but after watching this I would have loved to adopt them.

The poor kids and dogs on the street begging for food! The man kicking a kid away is heartbreaking! Doesn't this country have any free healthcare for birth control? Having all those children and no money to support them! The government should provide birth control because they have to take care of them in orphanages! Do they have schools? They don't show them in classrooms.

I’m adopted from Bucharest Romania. I found my birth mom but I guess she struggles on her thoughts about it all. She was friends with me on Facebook but now she blocked me. I get how the rejection feels and I get how sometimes it feels a part of you is missing. I hope you guys are all okay and keep pushing yourself forward. If they don’t want you, just focus on you and know your worthy of a happy life. It’s their loss

Alex definitely comes from Rom parents and at 12, too young to deal with all the emotions that go along with meeting her biological family but at least her grandparents got to see her again and hopefully, she’s okay now. It was around this time in 1999 that I was invited to volunteer at a small orphanage deep in the mountains of Transylvania. It was the greatest experience ever and watching this film brought back a lot of memories. I really miss Romania and hope to return soon.
