Sunken Treasure: The Warship Vasa
Просмотров 9 тыс.Месяц назад
Listen to the fascinating story of the Warship Vasa, the Swedish flagship that in 1628 sank only minutes into her maiden voyage. For 333 years she rested on the bottom of the inlet to Stockholm before she was raised and is now in a museum where she is the world's best preserved 17th century shipwreck, and one of Stockholm's most popular tourist attractions. The Vasa is not only a ship, but also...

EU4: Grandest Lan 2023 - Looking Back
here's a funny one that you can help me understand, why the can hoards with mission tree's get 120% cav combat ability ?
69 views, nice.
Okay, you sold me. When is it and where do I buy tickets.
Owls are famously amazing at sales. (Keep on eye on our socials, we'll be sure to share any future lans and maybe you can pet some owls too 😉)
owl petting bruh 💀💀💀
Looks like an cookie-clicker
O, y need it
I love games which mix genres. My favorite one is Space Rangers HD. Disclaimer: it's a Russian game, so I recommend pirating it.
Do the devs support the war?, do the Russian government somehow get a cut from the profit?, If no i see no reason to pirate the game
@@volcanowater does steam not pay taxes to Russia? If no,then i retract my statement.
You know what would be fun? If paradox stopped selling unfinished, monetizing game mechanics, and just in general treating their fans like shit. The worst has to be the times you just straight up steal modders work and resell it..
Hey, just to clarify, we aren't making any money from this video or its content - just promoting a very clever mod from a fantastic community initiative, the EU4 Modathon.
@EuropaUniversalisofficial just to be clear paradox has done this in the past repeatedly
army comp??
Numbers go BRRRRRRR
I tried this out recently and it's quite fun but you do become very powerful very fast. I'm talking annexing all of Italy in a few wars with no coalition in under 30 years playing without trying too hard. The mod itself is quite unique and it's really quite fun.
Wtf happened to france at the start?!?!
More accurately, what *didn't* happen to France?
Wow.
it can be fun
I never knew I needed this until I had it time to grind cookie clicker again but in eu4
My first was HOI3. Bought the physical disc at bestbuy. At the time, HOI3 was brand-new and none of the DLC existed yet. Still have the disc and 100+ page manual to this day.
Oyuna tr yama desteği getirin amk oynanmıyo.😥
And yet...AND YET Muscovite Russias endless hordes can straight body all of europe
Yeah yeah whatever you say its not like ai can win anyways no matter what you throw at them...
We had prussian space marines. Now we have orleanaise sororitas. The emperor protects!
This ignores tge most important part, artillery.
Discipline is the only stat that matters and you can not change my mind!
high discipline but low morale will force your guys to retreat even with probably less casualties but in general it depends on what time of campaign you are
Here is a mechanic I find confusing. Can you explain why when I siege a fort with 1k units the AI will give me more on a peace deal than when I send my 6 siege general with 1MM cannons, get several good rolls and then barrage it?
Wait… you can change army maintenance?
All mechanics are fine and dandy to learn. But RNGesus can still be the worst thing you can face in a battle. Nothing worse than watching a close nail biting major battle and seeing the dice roll low for you and high on the enemy. The AI is one lucky [REDACTED].
total war being redacted?
Censoring ck3 is crazy
Actually, it was [redacted]
@@EuropaUniversalisofficial hoi4?
@@Damond_Warrior could be civ, could be total war. hell, could even be fire emblem
It was definitely civ
Numbers don't matter in Ck3,troop quality and general skill does. A 3000 strong army can actually win against a 5000 strong force
Most new players ignore the pip system when it comes to unit types. Remember, the ottomans aren’t just crushing you because they have good tech, good generals, and great combat modifiers, they are also beating you early game because Anatolian troops are among the strongest in the game at game start! Late game though, part of why they fall off (and because of their nasty disasters) is because their units also fall off…. This is also why playing as native Americans can be so fun… if you can get your hands on high American troops, they are by far the best in the whole game!
Agree, but for the latest techs western units have a little bit better pips than high Americans.
@@noanyidea87 high Americans are still considered the best in the game
@@noanyidea87 Yeah Western Cavalry is superior amd their Infantry is effectively equal but that's from Tech 28.
So, you forget about main modifier that win you a war, force limit, becoase what you can do if your enemy have got 4m recruits and 2k force limit?
Depends on the situation, but even a force limit disadvantage can be overcome. Such as: Draining your opponent of manpower before you run out of manpower, going over your force limit (even if it requires going into debt, though if your economy is strong enough you can go over force limit without going into debt), and gaining naval supremacy and island trapping their army or trapping them on an opposite side of some other strait.
take loans
@@LemonCake101 or have big economy. Though if you have big economy you can also just build regimental camps… FL is not the main mod that wins a war. There is no modifier that will win your war, except, perhaps, tactics.
@@brendanjones9026 if you have played as a Japan the trapping is exactly what I've been doing in the beginning, AI just wants to chill armies on Hokkaido and I'm just blocking most of the armies and siege the capitals. Easy wins and without any casualties on my side
Played the free access and brought it anyways since i still have no idea how to play it, but nonetheless i played it like 12+ hours as zia tribe and it's actually more fun than hoi4 since annexing countries is harder and complex than hoi4 which just attack and annex. Also since the essential dlcs made free made the game really enjoyable
using a high speed general to outmanoeuvre your opponent and tricking him into attacking your technically inferior army in the mountains always feels so good if only naval combat was as engaging though 😕
Reminder: mil tech 6 compared to tech 5 is an effective +63% quality buff (this does depend on if your tech group unlocks new units, your army composition etc) but the main point is mil tech 6 vs tech 5 or lower will be absolutely massive for early game dominance
Hi Lemoncake
@@SeamusHamill o/
Was just about to comment how tech 5->6 is the biggest in the whole game! Tech 3->4 is also quite big though! And at 5 you get new infantry units, so depending on who you are playing as, it can make a huge difference.
@@rickboone213 yup, tech 3 to 4 is pretty big, and technically tech 15 is up there
How are you getting 63%? (0.55+0.95)/(0.35+0.65)/0.75 = 2 and that is ignoring if you get new units.
Is this game more complicated than Vic 3? It have 2k hours in Hoi4, only 200 in Vic 3 but I would say my understanding of both is complete. Always wanted to try the game just wondering how many hours I’m bouta play😂
It’s similar. After 4k hours though it’s unusual for me to learn new stuff
DLCs left the chat
The just merged some dlcs into the base game
The dlcs are on a 99% sale if you are doing the biggest bundle. You can get 350 euros of dlc for 40 euros in the next 24 hours, really good deal honestly
