I'm half Native American and African American for context and this is a poem that I wrote about that side of my family The way Native American tribes were/ continue to be treated by the State government is genocidal at worst and I would recommend researching the massive over hunting of bison and other wildlife along with other attacks before and after the Trial of Tears against the Native population as America was being colonized if your intrested in understanding some of the imagery in this video This was a school final project that had a emphasis on if the imagery correlated with the poem well so sound was not allowed to be added though I might add something later when I have time to revisit old projects :) Native American subjects and issues are always going to be political do to their standing within America it's self and until their on a more level playing field when it comes to rights both politically and beyond it'll stay that way I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

@@Tucker454 Idk I can't tell if this was a sincere attempt to reach out to parents and have them reflect on their "white privilege" or a attempt to make a mockery of people who are actually attempting that. I wish there were more then just right leaning media reporting on this so I could get better info but alas everyone else is reporting (thankfully) more important things People are dying from the freezing temperatures each day and some are having to watch empty business buildings being lit up and warmed from their dark houses that get colder and colder by the second This "8 white identities" BS is just that BS, it's a random reactionary story designed to distract from what's happening all over the US, it has no long lasting impact on anything or anyone and once viewers get bored of this drama the news will find something else to be mad about
