Shalom sis. Nice prep video but how is it you follow the law of observing the Sabbath but not the dress code? We are not supposed to wear pants according to Deuteronomy 22:5 and all that should be done by Sundown (you mentioned baking cookies later that night) since the sabbath beings sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. MHNCB

Kan about the pants, it's an abomination to TMH for Israelite females to be in pants. Sabbath begins Saturday at sunrise and ends at sunrise Sunday.
Hi Mickey, I have a question I hope you won't find rude. Were/are your parents Hebrew Israelites? If not, how did you join? Finally I loved your lamb bowl video. I make something similar with rice and diced lamb. I top it with a tiny bit of a Greek yogurt dressing that has dill, cilantro, lemon juice, pinch of sugar and grated garlic. Are the Hebrew Israelites vegan? Thought I read that.

aren't you supposed not to mix dairy with meat?
That's a JewISH tradition. We are not JewISH. Not cooking a Kid (goat) in its mothers milk is an idiom that has morphed into this idea. Not mixing meat and dairy is not in the scriptures.

Love this idea! But how do you take them out when you're ready?
When you’re ready to take them out just find your hair in the lock & pull it out or unravel it. Then undo the knot at the base of the braid. You can use scissors to cut the extension hair where it’s tied at the base too. 🤍

Todah! You can add dairy to your meal. According to Torah (Exodus 23:19) ..... has something to do with a baby being boiled IN it’s mother’s milk. You can have a cheese burger & more 😋 I am not Ashkenaz.
No that’s a rabbinic law mostly from books made from man in the Torah if you see genesis (Bereshit) chapter 18 where Abraham was with the angels he got butter and a calf that’s meat and dairy so yes it’s permitted to eat both together. With exodus 23 19 from what i heard was that was a Canaanite ritual.
It depends on which branch of Judaism one belongs to and whether a Jew keeps kosher. Strictly speaking cheese and meat together are most definitely NOT kosher. All ultra-Orthodox and Orthodox do and many, if not most Conservative Jews do as well.

@@mickysworld9 Same as mine...just as the Holy Bible teaches. Christ Jesus, "God with us" also kept it. My chur h keeps the dietary laws and Seventh Day Sabbath, just as the commands tell us.
