Paula, I 💕 this - you are planting a seed of conservation in the hearts of many young Kenyans. Please keep watering, it will come to fruition in due time.
What a fantastic bunch!

Hi
Lots of respect for the SES and all that it stands for!
I just saw her on a repeat of the Antiques Roadshow British version
Excellent. Look forward to watching the progress.
Brilliant Rosie and Pom. Look forward to hearing more on 22 March. Best Neville
sarebbe meglio un commento scritto, sarebbe più comprensibile
Merci pour vos vidéos et images superbes. Bonne continuation.
Only if there was a machine/robot to plant these seedballs properly fast at scale and water these seedballs once in while. Maybe if the seedball was made by adding manure of local species like goats and cows, they may not eat it. #savesoil
Albion what u doing with our women
How can planting trees create jobs if there is no one who pays you money ?
Great documentary video
Bis 2050 wird die Bevölkerung in Afrika um weitere 1,2 Milliarden Menschen anwachsen. Das sind mehr Menschen als in Europa, Nordamerika und Russland zusammen.
A lot of causes of human suffering are inflicted by the wicked oppressive rulers and leaders.
Would be amazing if they succeed & I hope they do. It'd create an impressive example to emulate for many regions & countries around the world.
10.27, WHAT A TRUTH PEOPLES, IN THE LIMITED CONDITION, THEY WERE STILL FULFIL THEY OBLIGATION PRAYING TO ALLAH. HOPE ALLAH ALMIGHTY LIFT UP YOUR PROBLEM, AND ALL THE EFFORT YOU HAVE DONE WILL BRING BETER LIVE CONDITION. MUCH LOVE FROM INDONESIA
Very interesting and informative.
Green wall is critical to Africa remaining a viable option for all forms of life. Without it, everything dies.
Congratulations all award winners! Amazing to see such passion and innovation for discovery, research and conservation! So proud to be an SES Explorer!
We're proud that you are an SES Explorer Emma!
nice
Trees help restore land, grasses, moisture, wildlife, water. Patchwork doesn't restore degraded land sadly.
Great green wall would be better than patchwork of activity but it's honest.
Accurate reporting is critical to success.
Population
But it won't help to over-sell its "success", the initiative commenced in 2007.
The lands have been degraded for over four decades. Poverty, degradation has been a constant. Planting trees is new. Maybe this will help Sahelians
For four decades. Not new. Hopefully green wall will help.
Woot woot, congratulations, Bethan!!!! You do incredible work!!
Very cool Charlie! Keep on pushing limits and getting out there!
Can't wait!
Boko Haram and ALkaaida as nothing to do with the weather it has everything to do with the Culture of Islam.
Where do you live?
Very nice video. Good work Thanks for sharing Have a nice day my new friend.
All the best Toby, thought you might like to know that I also made high res videos and still images in 2014. Over a 6 week period I had 14 sightings of Javan Rhinos ( including a mating pair and one encounter for over 30 minutes at a distance of only 4-5metres) with my own eyes and another 3 on camera traps (www.stephen belcher.net.) I also had on 3 separate occasions a rhino came through the campsite at night. Canoe this certainly the way to go, thats how I did it in 2014. The big problem is the location of Ujung Kulon to active volcanos (only one population centre) and the extensive covering of Arenga palm blocking the growth of the more nutritious food plants growing. I have much more video and stills than was edited for the video below. A brief video is attached ruclips.net/video/aY6BDHDpfXE/видео.html&ab_channel=EarthTouch
Hi Stephen, wonderful to hear from you, thank you! Yes I've followed your extraordinarily successful expedition for some time and have enjoyed your stunning vids and stills online; I referenced your expedition in the applications (in setting up my expeditions) - as yours was clearly the first great success in photographing the species for decades. I had no idea you had seen a mating pair; that's incredible. I would love to catch up with you about it in detail at some point. Are you based in NZ? I went to Ujung Kulon on a recce trip in 2019 (only heard a rhino), then returned for a pilot expedition last year which was very successful (check out a few of the images here: www.tobynowlan.com/), and I plan to return when restrictions finally ease, whenever that will be. Anyway thanks again for reaching out Stephen, great to hear from you, and would be great to chat rhinos with you at some point. Very best, Toby.
@@tobynowlan Hi Toby, Would be great to talk. You can email via my website with contact info etc.
Well done SES - under adversity - a really first rate Awards programme beuatifully presented, Julian Matthews SES
You can't go there at the moment, but watch how others have done and will do in the future. Introduced by well known explorers while they are locked in their homes.
