Got my steamdeck today. Your content is by far the easiest to understand and use. Also the most updated as well. However having updated today right out of box, Chiaki4deck is not available natively like you share. I used the other one that is available and the menu options were a bit different however essentially the same. Figuring out how to put the link in the game interface itself took a minute as a brand newbie.... but did that and bound the controller keys and everything is working wonderful. Thx for your little tool as well. That was easy. Now I'm curious if like the PS portal, I can stream games without the playstation at all. Thanks again for the great tutorial!

That would be crazy if it ran on Chrome OS. What if they bought Stadia infrastructure so they could stream PC games at a higher resolution than the hardware is capable of?

Ike is Fire Emblem's most popular character and has been Intelligent Systems favorite Lord. He's come in first place on more than several popular polls involving Fire Emblem even surpassing modern game representation to the point he's practically the mascot next to Marth. He's basically the Luigi of the franchise. I don't see them cutting Ike other than players just being tired of his current moveset.

I'm hoping its 599$ box that matches ps5 pro performance. Valve would make there money selling you a steam controller 2 for like 80$ and maybe a headset. Sell loads of them the developers will come and nake Netflix and whatever streaming service work on linux im totally against chrome os its fragmentation just make steam os dope and sell enough to force the likes of Netflix to support it

You could use your 3oth anniversary controller with the Steam Deck or PC. I bought a Dual sense for black friday for my Deck/PC just to check it out...

The Vita was way ahead of its time in terms of hardware, but marred by some bad design choices - and some absolutely weird marketing. Sony pushed it as a companion device to stream the PS3 to - much like the Portable nowadays, but it was just too early for the market to accept that value proposition. I found mine after years hiding in a box, and have modded the heck out of it (software and hardware) - it's a great little emulation device.

I would rather wait for the Xbox handheld if its a PC hybrid where youll be able to have access to more games on Steam And GamePass day 1 titles in their handhelds. Not to forget playstation is quick to cut support to their side project hardware.

It appears that now you don't need to use this fork. The touch screen of the deck appears to work as the touchpad. At least it did for astros playroom, my go to game for showing off the controller to people and stuff like testing remote play now.

And Forza Horizon still was the biggest snubb ever if a niche game like Belatro can make it

They need Best Expansion/DLC award. Elden Ring doesnt need to win twice for a DLC.

I think this has been one of the most real takes on the industry. It's stale now. When the best way for me to go find new interesting games is by looking through forums and searching twitter, the industry has a problem. Games used to make games and now executive "make" them and that makes the boring because most games are seen as profit driven and not fun driven and it shows.

This is something I said a year ago on Discord. Why are games so long? Do players want 80 to 100 hours of gameplay? Uncharted released in 2007. Uncharted 2 2009. Uncharted 3 2011. The Last of Us 2013. Uncharted 4 2016. These games are 15 to 20 hours of gameplay, made money and are enjoyable. The development cycle was shorter and the cost far less.
