happy to see you my old friend!
very good presentation
Brilliant discussion.
There's no sound
Beautiful work. All the best to you.
Your teaching skills are truly impressive! Thank you for sharing those insightful tips that make these approximations more understandable at their core, especially the link to the factor graphs. Very useful for someone who wishes to connect the dots and gain a comprehensive understanding of why and how these approaches work, rather than just applying their results.
amazing camera work, very well done
maybe the length-scale hyper-parameter of the focus hasn't been optimized...just kidding. I frankly think this lecture is one of the best introductions to GPs, and I really appreciate the uploader to upload this to the public!
Thanks for sharing, very nice explanation!
😂 AI on AI
Great talk. Thanks for sharing!
nice yeabu
Nice video, I started using the FreeStyle Libre sensor and Nightrider for last two weeks, It not only tracks my sugar levels but also give me alarms when I’m low or high. Amazing!
Good job buddy!
Amazing DR.
super useful, thanks!!
Amazing!!!
Absolutely worthless. Almost impossible to see the slides.
Great explanation, I'm sure it'll get more views as GPs become more mainstream
Unfortunately for GPs, it seems for nearly every machine learning-like process the sparse Bernoulli model has been proven as superior, along with the rTop-k algorithm as of late 2020. From my understanding of course.
Turner is so great at teaching, too!
Awesome presentation. I have gotten an idea for my university masters project by watching this talk.
Thanks a lot!
Thank you very much for sharing!
Thanks so much, excellent source to learn about the topic!
The camera man tries to remain relevant by adjusting focus. Mate, next time just leave it at a constant setting at let us watch the lecture
Seems that the camera keeps drifting away, like I always do during a lecture.
I am from the Technology and Innovation Institute, the Institute really wants to work with you. If u have time and willingness please us through 'addistbw1@gmail.com'
Does the camera guy even know how to use a camera? Just use manual focus!!! That's a really bad looking video. Good news is that at least the audio is decent.
Nice presentation Shelminth
Jan leaving aRM? best of luck
Nice details !
good audio, bad video.
Amazing work 👏👏👏 God bless you .

person holding camera is dancing every 5 mins. how did the camera land in the hand of the joker?
Im enjoying the camera work, most of the time im thinking about what is being said rather than trying to read what is on the slides. And the audio is phenominal, thanks for the upload.
Congrats Dina
geez, what happen to the camera?
Worst camera man ever.
Brilliant! It's a very niche topic and this lecture explains the currently available literature in a very intuitive manner.
Focus please!
Amazing explanation. Thanks a lot for uploading. Although I am out of the field, I could grasp it.
Finally, with some knowledge of matrix algebra, the Gaussian process derivation can be understood. I wish the person behind the camera would stay in focus. Fortunately the slides are available!
Are there any slides for this?
Slides are at users.aalto.fi/~ave/gpaai2017_vehtari.pdf
