I tried all of your steps but when I start to run the game it doesn't seems as the game read the mod files, I have edited the ini file to load those files and it works, but UI mod (the only mod I'm interested) gives some messages

so basically manually download and extract to the data folder not the mods folder got it. Over 8 mins for just that! cheers.

Still coming here in almost 2025 lmao just got my pc 3 days ago finally got all my mods on vortex I thought it automatically put them in order so I go to load the game it won't ugh I search why it brings me here

nexus mod is the sh3tt3est place on earth. you just CANNOT download any mods, it's an ininite loop of " you'll need this file as well" regarding skyrim we talking thousands upon thousands of manual downloads only to end up with a non working game... f5ck this sh3t

weird thing so like when i lounch from vortex it gives me this issue but when i tried the first thing you did with opening the file it just starts working instantly sooo on one hand i still dont know how to get vortex to work right but on the other hand i can still get it to work through the in game files (sometimes)

I just realized it's been almost 10 years since I last played this game. Holy almighty shit bro. I remember me trying to mod this game back then was an absolute brutal pain and resulted in lots of crashes. Here's hoping it goes smoother now. lol

for anyone who really doesnt want to buy nexus premium and doesnt want to sit there clicking slow download for each download link you can ask chat gpt to make a python program that will search for the download button and click it when its on the screen it will still take a while as you will still be restricted to 3mb per s however you can just leave it for a day and itll download all of them

Next time read the descriptions! you only need to copy 2 files from ENB the binaries as stated in every ENB you download. Boris has nothing to do with Vortex by the way, he is thew sole dev of ENB. It's YOUR FAULT by not reading!

stupid question but then how do you use the mod? i copied mod folder into data folder but i dont know what to do next, and it seems like the mod havent applied to the game either? i'm so confused please help

does anyone know if its has "ESP", "ESA", "ESM" files in it, do you have to do something different?

If you need to download hundreds of gigs of mods just to play Skyrim then maybe you should just change to Dark Souls.

I prefer to install a Wabbajack mod list such as "Aurora" that focuses only on aesthetics and implementing general game fixes to the base game. Then I add about 200+ more mods to personalize it with m preferred gameplay mods. If you're a beginner and end up breaking your game in the process, just reinstall and overwrite the original Wabbajack mod list again which subsequently only takes a few minutes this time, because you've already downloaded the required mods. Easy-peasy!!!

Do not listen to this video. It is not whatsoever a valid guide on how to install mods for Skyrim. It's a software that does nothing for actually properly installing mods. It will only install groups mods that may or may not contain mods you need. Do not ever use this program.

This was actually surprisingly easy and it mods my game better than i ever did lol

my issue is the fact I downloaded the mods but the game says nope because creation club says to and then when i enable them in the creation club load order it messes up my load order so the game will never start a new game and I am stuck with the skyrim logo and the infinite song loop, I am sick of it.
