Very quiet running your Mazda truck!😀 We sure have had some misty damp starts to the days this January least then the sun do come out!🌞👍
Looking forward to the spring and this years Car Shows :)
@ Yes won’t be too long now before the rally season starts again!👍
MCMLII 1953. I owned a 1965 C A 77 honda 305 dream and I added the roman numerals, MCMLXV on a plate to the windscreen,,it was a nice touch.your bantam is stunning,,beautiful blue smoker,,..cork city,,Michael.
I've owned or driven/wrote off so many of those models in the last 50 years of driving, including the gorgeous blue Mustang. If only I'd known.....
You and me too pal, I had a Triumph Herald, Spitfire, GT6, TR7, Ford Popular, Capri, Mazda MX5, Toyota MR2 MK2, VW Camper 1972..among many others, all of which would make a small fortune now ! But hey, the smiles per mile were worth it :)
Don't think I ever paid more than £150 for any of them, except the Mustang which cost me a small fortune.... £550. Shelby fastback shape too, jacked up rear and regular Chelsea cruising.Treated myself to a 21st birthday present after a nice pay out from a smashed leg. Fun days.
@@fertysurfer Amazing !! love the Bullitt Mustang :)
About 90 and still loves him myself
I seem to have had a cameo in a lot of videos from the boxing day meet. I'm in blue coat taking a shot of the Dodge and Beetle leaving at 13.30 mins. 🙂
Have you seen the drone footage ? from another Channel . I seem to be in that a number of times !! Laugh :)
@@RoadTripsinCornwallUK Yep I'm in that too! 😄
@@Sidchasingclassiccars Drone footage is soOOoo cool !!!
Ive anchored in that river in the 80s when there was a groundswell rolling into st ives . Anchored right by a honking slaughter house lol .
Merry Christmas mate We are so lucky to live hear!
Indeed we are !!
Happy Christmas!
Thanks, you too :)
I remember Choppers first coming into the shops, I so wanted one but never got it - the green model looked great. The alternative was ape hanger bars on whatever bike you had, in my case a Shopper! Pre-dating the Chopper, cow horn bars, knobbly 26" tyres and a single speed or fixed was the thing to have.
Yup me too, a normal single speed bike but with ape hangers I actually found dumped in a local wood with dents all over it. I covered it in coloured tape to match the bike and I thought it looked great !! Hahahh :)
Enjoyed the video and hearing the story about the bike. Nice condition. I would just change to original hand grips and get a white seat strap. You are right it's been repainted in a non original MK2 colour. It also has a MK1 decal on the chain guard. You maybe right that it was originally silver as in 1976 silver a colour was released. As you said you like to ride it so just leave it as is, looks great👍
Thanks for the comment. Smiles for every mile :)
Remember riding the chopper back in the 70s. They were just so different to the ordinary bikes and you could get two on it!😀 Don’t recall that colour though, I would just leave it as it is. It’s in good condition for the year. Merry Xmas mate!
Thanks, yes I think its a non original colour. Merry Xmaz to you too :)
I had a mazda B2200 in 1992. Wish I had kept it now.
You've done a great job touching it up and keeping it a runner. What are your plans for it? Will you do any touring with it? Is it for your bikes as a part runner? Handy tool for your house? Just curious.
Its my daily driver. Hauls our bicycles, paddleboards and beach gear as we live 10 minute drive from the nearest beach in Cornwall. Take all our garden rubbish to the dump. Longest journey so far 200 miles, no issues, runs like a dream as low mileage , 96k. If kept in this condition will never lose its value, in fact is worth over £1000 more than I paid for it now. No plans to sell as cheap to run and cool as fook !! Hahah.. Also take to various Classic Vehicle events across Cornwall during the summer.
@@RoadTripsinCornwallUK Thank you for the update.
Your truck is in great condition for its year! Didn’t know that was fore runner of the ranger. Think it would look better jacked up a little bit though. Always a great place to look around at top of engine hill. Great👍
Previous owner lowered it by 3 inches. If you google standard height trucks I don't think they look quite as cool but each to their own :)

british culture of the 60s was build on british motorbikes where are they now all gone and culture with it
They may not be manufactured in the UK but there are new modern Triumph's, BSA's and Royal Enfield's. There are numerous Classic/vintage Bike Event's regarding actual bikes built in the 50/60/70's all over the Country. Just look at my Crofthandy Classic Motorcycle video. :)
great moped love it bsa should have new trials bikes 150 125 80 200 crome leather no plastic good luck
Mopeds are 50cc in the UK This is a 125cc. Great bike though :)
You made a beautiful job of that!
Thanks :)
Good that you filmed the building on top the cliffs, we see the pumping engine all the time. The stamps and whim engine seem to get left out of the picture! It’s a great place for a walk.👍
Amazing location :)
Lovely collection of old vehicles! How often do they meet up at the inn for all seasons?
1st & 3rd Friday of the Month from 10am to 12 innforallseasons.co.uk/events/
@ Thanks for the info! I’ll pop over for a look around sometime. 👍
Great day this was. I was there on the black Bonneville.
Some really cool bikes & cars :)
Some great vehicles on show at that meet up! Very watchable👍
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great turnout of vehicles this year, this event gets bigger every year! You got some great footage, thanks for sharing mate👍
No worries, was a great event :)
Great video. Weird to see myself in the background 😂😂
Cool !! and partly why I did the video so that those who took part would have that record :)
Just remembered I have some BSA and Triumph catalogues and will bring them to you when I visit you in June Dave Berry
Brilliant thanks :)
many thanks for this preview I will be down to visit you next June, I was in the motorcycle trade for 50 years .Dave Berry
Hi adam, thought you would like this😀 What a collection and standard of restoration is off the scale!! Great👍
@Dave.w-ev9qn1962 yes it definitely is it's a great collection.
Great video
Thanks, fantastic collection of bikes :)
no triumph cubs eh
Nice walk down that track, it used to be an old Cornish lane before camborne bypass was built in the mid 70s Wheal peevor is good one to view, because it has the three types of engine. 60” pumping engine, 22” whim and 36” stamps. Mine closed in 1887 getting to a depth of 170 fathoms. Very watchable video.👍
Many thanks, glad you liked it :)
So many Mullets so many Steam Engines.
Beautiful video.
MY OLD FRIENDS used to have a beach house on a beach like this. 😊
MY OLD FRIENDS live on a beautiful beach like this one.😊
Oh ! The colours of Cornwall 😍❤️
A lot of information you see online is naff, and you need the ability to know which is good advice and which will just make things more difficult. Maintenance spray is a generic term, and some will make the rubber melt and go sticky or even perish it. Only use silicone spray for rubber. Always drop the tyre down into the well before pulling it off with your hands. Using screwdrivers like this will chew the tyre to pieces and take all the paint off of the rim. If you feel the need to use a metal tyre lever, put a bit of plastic on the rim to save damage.
99% are unables driver..only full gas, when in this conditions is better sensibility
Track was loose gravel after heavy rain that morning. Drivers can only have standard tyres and 2 wheel drive. That slope is even steeper than it looks and they are limited in the run up to the start as well. So full power makes little difference, its weight and traction that counts. :)
Worked with Martins mechanic Phil Drummond at Blewett and Pender for four and a half years. Great bloke also did some work for the Jennings family. Good to see the volume of bikes here.
Amazing sight and nice bit of history :)
I must say that you have captured a relaxing Atmosphere without the annoying lift music playing in the background of a great selection of rarely seen motorcycle's and vehicles, I hope you don't mind me asking but if the owner of the Yamaha 650 XS2 at video time 2:31 is watching this and is interested in selling this lovely machine Please contact me asap. Thank you.
@@RoadTripsinCornwallUK Fair play to you, your footage is very good, unlike mine filmed with an iPhone, I just video Shorts for fun for my grandchildren, they love watching where I go so I set up a channel for them, I hope you eventually gain a decent income to support your channel, I am trying to sell an Indian FTR at the moment and purchase a 70s classic XS2 Yamaha, anyway Best Wishes, from an OAP Wales UK.
@@RoadTripsinCornwallUKWales has the most beautiful scenic landscapes in the UK, I'm on the Mid Wales border and love the serenity, I have never been to Pentre but do spend a lot of time at the Baffle Haus nr Pontypool, it's a must visit for a tea, coffee or meal when you move to the Rhondda.
Nice video mate, it was cool to see the bikes up the road as well as in the square! 😍
Yeh, that way I hoped to catch most of the riders so they have that record of being on the run :)
A great event as usual some really nice vehicles and people. It was a pity about the remnants of storm Eileen. that wind was cold.
Indeed !! But that's Cornish weather for you !! Cold wet misty morning today !! 8/9/2024 ! Thanks for the comment :)
Very good footage mate! You managed to show folk what the west of England rally is all about. Looking forward now to 70th next year. Great vid!👍
Many thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
First bike I ever bought was a bantam D1 . Bought it in 1967. Cost me £5. Ran for ever until I bought a tiger cub for £60 a few years later. Both bikes were so much fun.
My older Brother had a Bantam 175cc when I was bout 14yrs. I always wanted a D1 with the single seat and hardtail and finally got one as a retirement prezzie to myself. Guaranteed smiles with every mile.
I always wanted a Tiger cub 200cc back in the 60s before I passed the test, but one never came available to me , they were quite a rarity even then
The best of British, not one American barge in sight
I'm lucky enough to see these beautiful engines as they pass by my house on the way to the show. The drivers will always wave as they pass and all will chat about their machines at the show. If you get a chance to ride with one, don't wear light colours.
Love seeing all the youngsters riding them too, all covered in coal dust. Great memories :)
Hola , soy fanático de la Mazda b1899, la camioneta es tuya? Tengo una de okm y estoy buscando información para restaurarla. Podrías ayudarme?

😍😍😍 Mustang 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ohhhh, that fs1e,,, 😁👌
Yeh that's what I thought !! I used to ride one to work back in the day :)
Provenance the tooling is ww2 war prize from DKW.
What now appears to be St Agnes Parrish Council offices used to a Lloyds Bank sub branch, initially sub to Truro and then to Perranporth, when that became a branch. It was open 3 days a week and my father was the bank clerk. We lived above the branch. This must be from 69 years ago, and was there from age 4 to 11. Went to St Agnes Primary down British Road.
Love a bit of history. Thanks for the comment :)
