Although Deuk unfortunately passed away you gotta respect him for enduring and not giving up after taking those punches and keep fighting. This really put a reality check on me boxing isn't a game to be played not downplaying other sports but every sports have their risk but with boxing and other combat sports you're putting your life on the line.

I bought 10-dollar Bonsem boxing gloves from Temu. It feels like a normal boxing glove when it comes to a punching bag and light sparring. a friend of mine and I did 1 round with them, as they did not have their own boxing gloves and I got a mild concussion from it. We did not go hard, like 40-50% of the power, usually would go 20-30% but had not done so for a while so underestimated our strength, did not feel anything when blocking, but he hit me in the head once. I never could have imagined they were this dangerous and just 1 bad punch could cause a headache for 3-4 days. Certainly would only use them for very light sparring/practicing from now on... TLDR: doesn't hurt hands, but causes a concussion for your opponent even if you don't go hard!

They're also called Speed bag gloves and bag mitts. The point of these gloves is to condition your hands. I have the Rival RB5 which are affordable and made with real leather at around the $40 mark after they break in after a few uses they're great. My first pair were the Everlast cheapies made of imitation leather which fell apart. If you're on a tight budget Nista Boxing Speed Bag Gloves are around $20 which I think are good quality faux leather.
