Winter Fly Fishing | Big Rainbows!

Winter fly fishing for trout in Montana! Cassie and I head to our favorite river in Montana for a few days of fishing. It's wintertime, and a lot of people don't think of winter as an ideal month for fly fishing. If you can find the right water, the fishing can be pretty amazing.

This video is some of the highlight work I have done during my Internship at Midwest Whitetail. All of the video was shot and edited by Michael Parente.
Watched a few of your videos and I reckon one day your channel will go viral

Nice review!
Thanks! Still love this light!
Hell yeah bois!
Wow
Thanks for sharing that I am frustrated with the resin not curing completely , this looks like a winner.
You got it man! The price is steep but I’ve been really happy with mine!
What body material did you use for the purple perdigon?
Veevus Holographic Tinsel in purple! I like medium!
For me, I would like a light that stays plugged in.
Amazing shot, love it.
that's a nice fish, Utah?
Back yard in Montana!
Will this light work to get my jigs to glow longer ? Or is it to strong ......? I don't tie Flys or need to for curing , just need the power.
Thats a good question. I do glow my jig's for ice fishing, but I use a cheap UV light for that. I would say this light is a bit over kill glowing Jigs, and I think that the limiting factor would be the jig itself. Yes I think this light would glow you jigs up to is mac "glowness" quicker, but i think that the glow will dissipate at the same rate as any other UV light. Sorry I don't have a great answer for this. I'll test this out at some point.
I have been having the same problem with my somewhat cheap uv light. Just got the same loon uv light today tac free finish now definitely worth the $100
I agree. After using it for over a month. I'm super happy with it. I haven't had to recharge yet either so thats cool too.

Those were some great time lapses mike. The lightning one was super cool. Great job on your recent elk hunt in Wyoming.
