The Severn, The Teme are intermittently the same. You can actually smell the sewage in the river water. Canoeists are the best people to ask, picking up turds and sanitary towels as they paddle. It’s abhorrent.

Actually really fu#ks me off to no that I've been struggling to make ends meet as a single working parent and thames water threatening to take me to court because I can't pay the bill. THAMES WATER YOUR CRIMINALS. Also what annoys me I was proud of our water. Clean drinking water our history that I feel is something to be proud of and THAMES WATER THE CRIMINALS polluting our rivers and making the british people pay to do it. 🇬🇧 WE NEED TO ACT

the river seven is in a poor state, 35 years ago the upper seven was full of weed and insect life . now there is no crows foot weed and very little else , salmon parr were once a pest for anglers now adays you might get 2 in a week

My local river Medway has hardly any flow in the none tidal stretches because of water abstraction to serve the thousands of new houses built alone its coarse, Kents beaches are among the most polluted in the UK and what are local authorities doing about it ,NOTHING, The EA has become a joke ,

The fault lies entirely with this odious Government, who give environmental protection no priority.

It is so refreshing to see "someone do something positive" in our political environment where nothing seems to work. The Government appears clueless and helpless. I would like the Environment Agency to charge huge fines on the erring Water Companies and use these funds to further protect our rivers. Good luck with the Court case.

Environment Agency 🙈🙊🙉 water companies making billions 💰💵💰 and pumping shit into are rivers and seas 😡 polluting on a industrial scale 😡 nationally Time for a public inquiry, Environment Agency top brass should be investigated as they have failed to do their jobs 😡. Water companies should refund money to consumers as they have failed to do the job they have been paid for. 40 years ago we were told our rivers were in a shocking state. we had weed and insect life and salmon parr, now we have weedless rivers and no parr ect
